As to the relations with south Sudan, the minister said this relations stand as the first foreign relations and that Sudan at the same time is very keen to have constant relations of cooperation with Chad.
He stressed that the relations with chad has reached the level of military cooperation in the form of the joint Sudanese Chadian joint forces. He also referred to the constant coordination between the leadership in the two countries. The Minister said the Sudan was also part of the peace process in the Central African Republic.
The Minister said relations with Egypt on the other hand are at their level best at present, reaffirming however that the Sudan moves on two levels, the first was that Halaib is Sudanese territory but at the same time Sudan would not relinquish the strategic relations with Egypt.
