New Delhi, Oct. 30 (SUNA) The Sudan and Ethiopia have confirmed their identical views on the region's security, following the talks held between the President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir and the Ethiopian Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn at the Sudan's Embassy in New Delhi.
The Ethiopian Prime Minister noted in statement to SUNA that he has reviewed the bilateral relations with President Al-Bashir and the security situations in the neighboring countries, the efforts for achieving the peace that reflect on both countries.
The two parties have discussed the economic and trade cooperation between them.
Prime Minister Desalegn indicated that they have also discussed the water cooperation and the agreement signed between the Sudan, Egypt and Ethiopia.
Meanwhile, President Al-Bashir has performed Friday's prayers in the embassy's annexed mosque with hundreds of worshipers and then met with the Sudanese community in India.
The Sikh sect Supreme Council Head, Mokhtar Sinq Asaal has presented a chair as a gift to the president, which expresses the health and wellness, live long, and the lasting friendship between the two countries, meanwhile, President Al-Bashir had expressed thanks for the gift.
