Khartoum, Mar. 1 (SUNA) - The Chief Justice, Prof. Haidar Ahmed Dafaalla, affirmed that all the political systems have asserted the principle of the independence of Sudan Judiciary, so as to do its duty without influence from other sides, stating that the Judiciary is independent financially and administratively.
He said in opening sitting of the 24th Conference of the Directors and Deans of the Arab Judicial Institutions at the Friendship Hall Tuesday that the conference which brought together brothers from the Arab countries aims to develop and reform the justice services in Arab countries and affirm the principle of the rule of law.
He affirmed that the Constitution of Sudan stipulated creation of an independent Judiciary.
Prof. Dafaalla said that the need for enhancement and training is continuous, affirming that the recommendations of the conference will lead to promotion of the judicial systems in the Arab countries.
