Khartoum, Feb.6 (SUNA)-Foreign Minister, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour has underscored strength of relations between Sudan and Yemen, referring to commercial and social ties that link the two countries.
He affirmed Sudan support to stability and restoration of legitimacy in Yemen.
This came when Prof. Ghandour received in his office, Monday, the Yemeni Minister of Oil and Minerals, Engineer Saif-al-Sharif who is visiting Sudan to hold talks with Minister of Oil, Dr Mohamed Zayed Awad.
The Yemeni Minister expressed his country appreciation to leadership, government and people of Sudan for continued support to Yemen in political, military and diplomatic fields.
Engineer Saif-al-Sharif congratulated the Foreign Minister on lifting the US sanctions against Sudan.
It is to be noted that the Minister of Oil of Yemen is on a several-day visit to Sudan during which he will hold bilateral talks on fields of oil and minerals and will meet the First Vice-President of the Republic. SA/SA
