Assistant of the President Appreciates Relations between Sudan and Germany

06:32 PM March, 03 2016 Sudanese Online Sudan News Agency-Khartoum-Sudan My Library Short URL Khartoum, Mar. 3 (SUNA)-Assistant of the President of the Republic, Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, has affirmed the keenness of Sudan to establish distinguished relations with Germany for the interest of the two countries. During his meeting Thursday with the visiting German delegation which is headed by the State Minister at the Ministry of Economic and Development Cooperation, Engineer Hamid described Germany as one of the countries that are keen to establish good relations with Sudan. He appreciated the contribution of Germany to enhancement of the media and vocational training as well as solving the issues of immigration and asylum at the international level. He affirmed the importance of boosting the cooperation between Sudan and Germany by advent of German investors to operate in Sudan at the agriculture, petroleum and the academic and cultural exchange. The Assistant of the President said that Sudan is hosting a big number of refugees from the Neighbouring countries and Syria and providing them with services. Meanwhile, the German State Minister has appreciated the success achieved in the cooperation and consultation with Sudan in a number of issues of mutual concern in the past period. He said that the two countries have agreed of strengthening the cooperation between them in the humanitarian and refugees' fields.
