SudaneseOnline-The head of the government's liaison committee with rebel groups, Sidiq Wadaa has revealed that all Darfurian armed movements agreed to peace (Minni Arku Minnawi and Gabreil) except Abdel Wahid Nour, head of Sudan Liberation Movement. Wadaa told reporters on Monday that all armed movements are committed to come to peace process except Nour, stressing that contacts with Darfurian groups proceeding well and peace will come soon In August Sudan's ruling National Congress Party (NCP) said it received a "verbal approval" from the chairman of the rebel Sudan Liberation Movement-Minni Minnawi (SLM-MM), Minni Arku Minnawi, through Wadaa, to engage in dialogue to end the conflict in Darfur. The SLA-MM said it would participate in the dialogue once convinced of the seriousness of the concerned parties, vowing to seek to unify the armed and political opposition and maintain unity of the country within the framework of its membership in the rebel alliance of the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF).
