Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART) invites you to a panel event on 16th March to discuss the current situation in Sudan and advocacy priorities moving forwards.
Event: Blue Nile and South Kordofan: What Next؟

This event offers analysts, parliamentarians, members of the Sudanese diaspora and others a chance to discuss the current situation in South Kordofan and Blue Nile States in Sudan.
Presentations will be followed by an open discussion which will aim to bring in the views of a range of Sudanese voices as well as international observers. We would like to invite all attendees to respond to the speakers and discuss the current situation in South Kordofan and Blue Nile.

About the Speakers
CHAIR: Baroness (Caroline) Cox was created a Life Peer in 1982 for her contributions to education and was a deputy speaker of the House of Lords from 1985 to 2005. She is the Founder and President of Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART). Baroness Cox has been visiting and working in Sudan and South Sudan for thirty years, allowing her to obtain first hand evidence of human rights violations and humanitarian needs. HART supports and works closely with partner organisations in South Kordofan and Blue Nile States, Sudan, and in South Sudan, in areas of education, health and emergency relief.
Benjamin Barnaba is the Executive Director of the New Sudan Council of Churches (NSCC). The NSCC undertake humanitarian and advocacy work in Blue Nile and South Kordofan states.
Benjamin will be joined by two colleagues with extensive experience of working in the Two Areas.
