Khartoum, 26 May (SUNA)- Sudanese Journalist, Aida Abdul Hameed Gimish, was honored with the award of best social reporting story on her feature "Increased kidney patient cases, Beyond Technical capacity of the hospitals" a story on the suffering of kidney dialysis patients in the Sudan.
The story was published in the Al-Khaleej Newspaper, to which a UAE charity organization reacted by donating 19 million Dirham for the Kidney Patients Friends in Sharga emirates, to be used for treatment of kidney patients resident in the UAE.
The award was handed by Sheikh Abdul Malik Bin Kayed Al Gasimi, the Advisor of Ras Al Khaima and chair of the UAE social development society. Topics related to the subject or the author
