Khartoum, 6 May (SUNA)- The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Medical Science University, professor Mamoon Humaida, has revealed that a number of agreements on post graduate studies have been concluded with South Sudan covering family medicine, and general health
He said 40 South Sudanese students will benefit from those agreements in the form of scholarship.
He pointed out to the recent inauguration of the Ocular Academic center in south Sudan as well as the Zaytona center in Juba which started operation already in south Sudan, well before the southerners voted for separation in 2011.
He said the center now works with the faculty of medicine university of Juba.
He said the university scholarships are provided according the merits of the applicants with regards to reciting by heart the Holy Koran and to those who excelled in their university studies
He said of those grants 30 will be for students studying nursery and 10 other will be provided for Dr Tabita Buthros to be for students hailing from the Nuba Mountains. ma/ma
