Sudan’s Security seizes the largest criminal network that forges official documents
|
Khartoum-SudaneseOnline- Sudanese Security authorities announced on Saturday that it has arrested the largest criminal network that forges official documents, IDs, passports, marriage and death certificates. Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) disclosed in press statements to the state-run Sudanese Media Center (SMC) that they have seized amounts of seals, logos and papers where the network manages its activities in one of Khartoum’s neighborhood. NISS sources told SMC that (13) suspects arrested and now they are under investigation, adding that the NISS has begun a large-scale security campaign to pursue criminal networks which finally led to follow-up information on the network and monitor some of its members who have been using ICT in the exercise of their criminal activity. The security source warned citizens from dealing with such criminal networks, adding that the security authorities will follow similar activities
