The Chinese Minister of Agriculture arrived in Sudan this week for a three-day visit.
He was accompanied by a high level delegation of Chinese investors and company representatives,andnbsp;Sudan Vision Dailyandnbsp;reported on Thursday.
Meetings started at El Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum within the framework of boosting the economical partnership between the two countries. On Thursday, the Third Chinese-Sudanese joint ministerial committee convened under the theme: Partnership for Sustainable Development and Achieving Mutual Benefits.
In a press statement, Agriculture Minister Han Changfu announced that his country donated $60 million to Sudan.
He affirmed China’s readiness to support the agricultural sector in Sudan by providing advanced agricultural technologies. The two countries agreed on the formation of a mechanism to assess the implementation of the agricultural agreements signed, he added.
His Sudanese counterpart, Minister Ibrahim El Dekheiri, called on the Chinese authorities to approve the export of 39 Sudanese items to China.
