  Khartoum, Nov.5 (SUNA) - The Council of Ministers, chaired by the First Vice-President of the Republic, Gen. Bakri Hassan Saleh approved , Thursday, an agreement on Legal Assistance between Sudan and Nigeria in criminal issues presented by the Minister of Justice, Maulana, Awad Al-Hassan Al-Nur . The Cabinet's Official Spokesman, Dr . Omer Mohammed Salehhas pointed out that the agreement aims at boosting cooperation between Sudan and Nigeria in the fields of investigations and litigation in criminal cases , extradition, as well as the taking of evidence and interrogation in a manner that not prejudicial to national sovereignty , security and the public interest . The Council of Ministers has also endorsed a memorandum of cooperation in industrial field between Sudan and Kuwait, presented by the Minister of Industry, Dr . Mohammed Yousif
