In the present turmoil of Sudan in the international arena, it is noted that politicians and journalists are rambling in the ever-vicious tide and waves of turmoil, panicking to appease the undulating eyes of the World.
No sign of a winner, as chairs are always in the way of the contenders.
But if we focus on what had been simmering in the world cauldron, we might wise up a bit. Last week, news from Donetsk People's Republic splintering from Ukraine, revealed that two captured British, and one Moroccan, mercenaries fighting for Ukraine, were condemned to death on terrorism by an internationally unknown court (as Donetsk is not yet a recognised state). Thus, this cannot be dubbed a capital punishment, not even under Russian Legal System. It is a sheer execution, ethically on grounds of ridding off cancerous elements, Mafia-like vengeance, which is what that court claimed as ‘’terrorists’’; it had been a practice indulged in, in the long dark ages of power spawning, including most theological dynasties (viz. crusaders, Umayyads, Abbasids and Ottomans). It prevailed too in Mafia wars thereafter.
Fact is that: Russia is playing with this inflammable disorder, having been given a kiss of life to prevail by the American Black Water establishment.
Heed the sunrays accompanying the deionisation of the fog shrouding the ethics of soldiers of fortune (or hired or assistant guns); it is worth contemplating the morality of. As in the eras before the New World Order, such assistant guns were part of the war strategy. There and then, it had no ethics other than the quest of winning. Empires and dynasties claimed supremacy via strengthening their armies or fleets by either conscripting fighter slaves, hired fighters or signed spoils pacts, different to alliances aimed at peace keeping. All was ad hoc the sake of power, which was the sceptre of rights to reclaim prosperity.
Thence heed the Present Deionisation of Eternal War Between Ethics and Duty,
Ethics never succeeded to enhance honesty as a deterrent to aggression. It only remained locked in gospels, never practised in governance; it remained a bland rhetoric, almost no religious dynasty or empire heeded it as a deterrent. The one effort that demasked that truth, was in the paper on ‘Eternal Peace’, by the enlightenment philosopher, Emanuel Kant, where he managed to prove that ethics and duty cannot be married.
That is as far as politics and history was able to record. But before that, gospels DID REITERATE this, both in the Old Testament and The Quran, but never did any of the relative dynasties care to apply it:
In the Old Testament
Mathew 10-16: “Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; therefore, be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”
Here, innocence stands for self-denial, to ward off evil, and that is by the ethics of fair gaming (call of conscience), which you should observe: by enforcing it if you have jurisdiction, or just stay willing it without enforcing it if you have no jurisdiction like in democracy or Shura, where authority is not all yours.
“Shrewdness” is the wisdom of best execution of duty ensuring justice of sharing of wins and losses of all community.
And in Islam:
Sura 33, verse 72: “Verily, We offered The Entrustment to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refrained to bear it and feared it. But man bore it. Indeed, he remained unjust and unwise”.
Here, Entrustment, the duty of juggling ethics and duty, stresses a just sharing of God-Given life supporting nature for all beings, whether by natural amenities for wellbeing, or the right to survive and remain free and safe, with a duty to observe each individuals’ equal rights in shaping it.
During the infamous ousted “Islamic Governance”, none of these pillars of Virtue were observed; on the contrary they were ignorantly misinterpreted, as ‘’ALL IS FOR GOD’’, using a rhetoric from the infamous philosophy of Nicolo Machiavelli (the End justifies the Means), which was repeatedly practised by the last ousted Islamic Government in Sudan. This way they delved into abusing public funds, driving the populace poor, displaced or perished in desecrating entrustment. This stained the image of Islam, where humans’ inherent injustices were profoundly warded against. Many members of that regime remorsefully yelled out their dismay on their aberrant reflection of that regime not befitting the nobility of True Islam, declaring their shock, voicing repentance and begging forgiveness. Those helped assure the purity of our Sudanese heritage, and the innocence of Islam of the disrepute being vailed with.
But others, on the other hand, quietly ducked the exposure of their shameful stink, then. Now, later, they merged out noisily unfolding their terrain of infamy on the face of Noble Islam, and on the face of the most kindred plurality in the world, our Sudan, where division, and all practices of race, gender or faith supremacism are proudly and profoundly kept at bay.
Those poor lost souls, never distinguishing fighting to fend from fighting to attack as per Sura 60, verses 8 and 9, further misinterpreted the help of God to Islamic fighters in verses 10 and 11 in sura 8: “You implored the assistance of your Lord, that He responded 'I shall assist you with a thousand angels in succession (10). Thus, Allah solely made it as glad tidings and, to enhance safety in your hearts, for victory solely comes from Allah, for Allah is Mighty and Wise. (11)”, misinterpreted it as real angels fighting side by side with Muslims (it was part of their rhetoric of angels and trees fighting with them in South Sudan), and further justified their infamous use of mercenaries, believing in God blessings them as fighters for Virtue. Alas they missed out that in the verse 11 of Sura 8 above, God clearly stated no external fighters were actually supplied, but only instilling belief in the hearts of the fighters to boost their will and to strengthen stabilize their feet with.
Freedom fighters, the militias formed to fight the past regime, and mostly splinters from the regime or its armies, are in the same loss being disciples of that regime thinkers or practitioners.
Never mind Karti’s bland triumph at the failures of the present rumpus of failures of Burhan’s coup, and never mind the self-destruction of the Egyptian fifth column in Sudan under Egyptian Hypnosis, warring over GERD, we have to focus on staying our grounds, and never let go, for the people of Sudan shall win
