External relations are based on the basis of common interests and benefits, not on emotions, reactions, and momentary and tactical emotions that do not contribute to pushing the joint relations forward.
Over the past period, the compass of foreign relations has remained unclear and is clearly controlled by the state of unsteadily and confusion and the transition from camp to camp without any study or slowdown, and certainly this unsteadily and confusion lost Sudan a lot and negatively affected the entire political scene.
The multiple foreign visits of the Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, to many countries on the regional and international environment during the past days did not have a positive impact on the ground, and if we look at them through the point of view of winning and losing.
The visit of the Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, to the State of South Sudan was expected of positive developments, and this is translated through the implementation of the protocols of the Juba Agreement signed between the Transitional Government and the Revolutionary Front, and the terms of the agreement are still witnessing a clear stalled, especially in the file of security arrangements, which led to the collapse of all previous agreements.
The visit of the Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, to the United Arab Emirates during the past few days was expected to result in positive support for Sudan by providing urgent support in order to save what can be saved in improving the Sudanese economy, but it appears that the United Arab Emirates has a very different vision in dealing with Sudan in the coming period, and perhaps the Sudanese government has not yet understood it.

The visit of the Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, to the State of Ethiopia was expected to bring about a new position on the Renaissance Dam in favor of Sudan, but that did not happen, so Ethiopia remains on its firm position on filling and operating the Dam without taking into account any assessment of the countries of Sudan and Egypt
The visit of the Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, to the State of Russia these days is considered a suspicious visit in terms of the idea and timing, at a time when the countries of the world determined their position on the State of Russia after it entered into a war with Ukraine, and any visit of any country to Russia at this time is understood as support and collaboration Russia in its war against Ukraine
The Sudanese-Russian relationship is an old and well-established relationship, and Russia has contributed in a very strong way to supporting Sudan in various economic and military fields, this is undeniable fact, but it is necessary to be careful in taking foreign political stances, due to the danger it poses to Sudan.

The absence of advisors and specialists for the Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo in various economic, political, foreign and security fields, will contribute in an urgent manner to his apparent failure despite the huge and unlimited financial capabilities that are available to the man, which if it employed optimally will definitely be a major factor in his progress forward.

At this particular time, I do not expect that there will be any role for the State of Russia towards Sudan, for a very simple reason, due to its involvement in its war with Ukraine, which caused it to isolate it and an international alienation.

In the past, Russia had a definite desire for economic openness on the African continent and was depending on Sudan to play a major role in this field, and Sudan is qualified for this for several considerations, but the developments of events in Russia today may cause it to reconsider many of its foreign policies.
