Wali of Blue Nile State Meets US Envoy for Sudan

Damazin, Aug.29(SUNA)-Wali (governor) of Blue Nile State, Hussein Yassin Hamad affirmed the People Movement remained exercising obstinacy y targeting civilians and workers of humanitarian organizations in the State, indicating to stability of humanitarian situations thanks to federal government efforts.

This came when he met in Damazin, capital of Blue Nile State, with the US Special Envoy for Sudan and South Sudan, Donald Booth and his a companying delegation in the presence of Minister of Health, Dr Abdul-Rahman Bilal and Minister of Physical Planning and Public Utilities, Adam Mohammed Al-Amin.

The Wali indicated during the meeting to recent aggression on workers of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society in the State .

The US Envoy presented a briefing on aims of his visit to the State.

Ministers of Health and Physical Planning informed the visiting delegation on accomplishments made by the State in field of services which are provided to citizens.
