Khartoum, Oct.28 (SUNA) - Minister of International Cooperation, Dr . Kamal Hassan Ali has revealed that arrangements are currently underway, in the ministry, to resume the multi-parties negotiations with the World Trade Organization (WTO) to reactivate Sudan's file with regard to joining the organization .
The minister, addressing a workshop organized by the National Secretariat for the WTO Affairs in cooperation with the Geneva based Trade Centre, outlined that the ministry, during the coming days, will work for appointment of a National Negotiator, to support the efforts being exerted for joining the WTO .
Meanwhile, the State Minister for Commerce, Al-Sadig Mohammed Ali has affirmed the importance of Sudan accession to the WTO, referring to his ministry's support to the Ministry of International Cooperation to complete the process .
