SPLM-N: Paris Attack is a Crime Against Humanity

The world is shocked by the terrorist attack in Paris, which represents a crime against humanity and brings again the danger of the increasing capacity of the terrorist network worldwide. The attack came when Sudanese opposition leaders and human rights activists are gathered in Paris to discuss issues of peace and democracy related to Sudan.
The Sudanese people are subject to their own state’s sponsored terrorism for the last 26 years and have been ruled by one of the ugliest regimes, which is part of the international terrorism network. The Sudanese regime has been listed as a state sponsor of terrorism and has opened the Sudan soil for different terrorist organizations, old and new. It is still sponsoring terrorist organizations, such as in Libya and Central Africa. We are concerned and we are in full solidarity with the French people and government, as we have suffered ourselves from terrorism and crimes against humanity.
We extend our condolences to the families of the innocent victims of the Paris terrorist attack. We express our deep sympathy for the people of France, and we stand with the French government against terrorism. Together we will work for a peaceful world that will accommodate all of us and our diversity.
