Khartoum, 23 Oct. (SUNA) - The National Council for Press and Publications has stressed it would continue with its drive to devote the 2015-2016 for training of journalists in the various genre in partnership with other organizations and institutions in the Sudan.

The Chair of the council, Fadul Allah Mohamed, told the trainees in a two day session that started on the 20 and was concluded on the 22nd of October, and which was devoted to how to write a political analysis, based on fact and figure and sound judgment, that holding to the ethics of the profession was one of the key elements in handling this type of journalistic writing.

Fadul Allah commended the French embassy which he said continues to work closely with the council in the various training fields for journalists. He said the training session which was concluded Thursday was an example of what the French people offer to others, particularly in Africa.

On his part the French ambassador to the Sudan, Bruno Aubert, commended the French partnership with the council in the rehabilitation and training of Sudanese journalists. He pointed out this training session was only the start for other sessions which will yet to come, covering radio and television.

The trainer Flaurance A. pointed out that the aim of the training was to provide journalists with the tool to write articles about and for the ordinary Sudanese people and to improve the analysis they write based on fact and hard news. She said the reader should be the target aimed at by the journalists writing analysis.

The Director of the training department at the council, Saad Abdul Gadir, said the council would continue providing training for sudanese journalists in partnership with other institutions.

He said the targets training of 180 journalists in the various economic fields in partnership with Dhilal company and the funding of the world Bank.
