Arab League welcomes Government ' signing of Road Map

Khartoum, Apr.6(SUNA)-The Arab League has welcomed , in a statement it issued, Wednesday , step made regarding negotiations between the Government of Sudan and the armed opposition in Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa last month and the Government signing of the road map.
The Arab League' statement, which holds signature of the League Envoy to Sudan, Dr Salah Halima, appreciated the considerable efforts made by the AU High-level Implementation Panel(AUHIP) on reaching the "roadmap', calling the two parties to commit to it in a way that realizes security, stability and peace so that efforts will be directed towards development and reconstruction.
The Arab League expressed its full support to the roadmap and expressed appreciation to the Government of Sudan stance and flexibility .
The statement urged the armed movements and the opposing and reluctant parties and political forces to reconsider their stances and sign the roadmap and to accept the peace option through inclusive national dialogue for settlement of all national issues and reaching a national accord agreed upon by all forces , parties and political movements in Sudan..
