إن مسؤولية الحماية التي دعت إليها الأمم المتحدة تعاني من نقص المعروض في السودان
By Mahmoud A. Suleiman
To begin with, let us define the phrase Responsibility to Protect the Principle imposed by the International Organisation, the United Nations (UN), on all its Member States to protect their citizens against all kinds of violence, disease and poverty and evils imposed upon them.
The Responsibility to Protect – known as R2P – is an international norm that seeks to ensure that the international community never again fails to halt the mass atrocity crimes of genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity.
What is happening now in Sudan is a Massacre committed by Al-Burhan against the defenseless people. We demand the United Nations and the Security Council to Activate the Principle of RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT THE DEFENSELESS.

This article comes against the backdrop of what is constantly happening of the Continuous violence and deliberate killings of defenseless unarmed civilians in Sudan at the hands of the army despite the overthrow of the so-called National Congress Party (NCP) regime led by the Génocidaire Omer Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir since July 2008, when the former Senior Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Luis Moreno Ocampo, accused him of crimes against humanity, war crimes and Genocide in the Darfur Region in the western Sudan. The genocidal criminal Omer Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir has been overthrown by a popular uprising through the Glorious December 19, 2018 Popular Revolution. On 11 April 2019, al-Bashir was removed from his post by the Sudanese Armed Forces after many months of protests and civil uprisings. However, the regimes that ruled Over Sudan, whether they were civilians or military, it seemed as if impossible for them to implement the principles advocated by the United Nations (UN), which says that the Responsibility to Protect the components of the people in every member state of the United Nations, is the responsibility of the state to protect does not find a response from the successive governments of Sudan since the dawn of independence from the British and Egyptian Condominium on Sunday the first of January 1956, and this trait applies most horribly to the successive Military Coup d’Etat governments in Sudan, under whose hands the Sudanese civilians continued to suffer from all those crimes mentioned by the United Nations, which include injustice, war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. Unfortunately, the same crimes are continuing happening now in Sudan at the hands of the military junta which seized power after the Glorious December 19, 2018 Popular Revolution, which overthrew the ruling regime of the so-called National Congress Party (NCP), led by the genocidal criminal the fugitive from international justice at The Hague in the Netherlands, Omer Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir and his criminal entourage, including the ruling military leadership today in Khartoum. The United Nations’ call for the member states needs to be met and adhered to the Principle of the Responsibility to Protect (R-T-P) more urgently than ever in Sudan today, as it is always been.
Furthermore, the military coup d’état in Sudan on 25 October 2021 sent shockwaves across the region and through diplomatic circuits. Following the arrest of the civilian Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok and several prominent senior officials from the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC), demonstrators took to the streets across Khartoum. They were confronted by soldiers from the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitaries in the capital, with reports emerging of Central Reserve Police paramilitaries also being deployed, said by the (Human Rights Watch, 29 October 2021).

Burhan says he will not be part of Sudan gov’t after transition
Sudan coup leader General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan says he is committed to transferring power to civilian leadership. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/11/7/sudan-burhan-says-h...ovt-after-transition
These statements from Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan have been refuted by the events that continued to affect citizens from the violence that afflicted the lives of defenseless citizens. All of them were killed with live bullets on the head and the chest and many suffered critical injuries and currently in different Khartoum hospitals are being treated. Mercy and eternity for the martyrs and victory to our great people of Sudan, said the crowds and the Sudan Central Doctors Committee.
What Al-Burhan kept saying of nonsense about his good intentions is exposed by the violence that afflicts the peaceful, unarmed Sudanese citizens. As the Sudanese people say, the rope of lying is short, and Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan continues to lie until he has become the laughing stock of the peoples of the free and democratic world! Heck him. BUT THERE IS AN ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION TOO –WE ALL PAY WHEN THE BASIC NEEDS OF OUR CITIZENS ARE UNMET”.

We can conclude this article with the wisdom that says as to how can the shadow be straight while the column is crooked؟ Furthermore, and at this point in this article, we reiterate that the way to reach the slogan of the United Nations, which says to the member states must abide by the Principle of the Responsibility to Protect (R T P) which is necessary for citizens, does not seem to be applied in the Republic of Sudan under the Military Junta rule.
