The Juba Agreement for the Peace of Sudan 2020, which was signed in Juba on October 3, 2020, is the visible part of the iceberg, and hidden under it is a secret agreement with known terms and landmarks, a secret agreement concluded between Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemeti), the leader of the Janjaweed Rapid Support Forces, the vanguard faction specialized in committing crimes of genocide, ethnic cleansing and war crimes on the one hand, and the heads of the armed movements of the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF), which negotiated with the “Government of Sudan” in the Juba venue for more than a year. At the lowest levels of moral decadence, they were apparently negotiating over the terms of issues representing the longings and demands of the victims of the wars of genocide and ethnic cleansing in Darfur region, but, at the same time, they were secretly negotiating against those rights and demands and selling them to the leader of the Janjaweed, Hemeti, conspiring against the rights of their families, the victims of the war that destroyed Darfur, claimed the lives of its people, violated their honor and humiliated their human dignity.
The land of Darfur has now become invaded by the Janjaweed occupier Hemeti, in addition to the whole Sudan, which the Janjaweed are crawling into.
. The Janjaweed Rapid Support militia attacked the town of Kraynik, rural El -Geneina, "the capital City of West Darfur state", a sweeping attack on the morning of Sunday, April 24, 2022, with a military force of more than 150 Land Cruisers armed with all kinds of lethal weapons, according to the direct statement of the police director of Kraynik town, who announced to the public from Inside the attacked town, an eyewitness to the attack and its victim, he said: (more than 150 heavily armed vehicles belong to the Rapid Support Forces participated in the attack on Kraynik town on the morning of Sunday, April 24, 2022).
. The Kraynik massacre is not the first, and it will not be the last, and it is the result of a secret agreement concluded in Juba between the leader of the Janjaweed Hemeti and the leaders of the armed movements who negotiated with him there, and the terms of this secret agreement became public and published in the media, released by some leaders of the armed movements who secretly concluded it with Hemeti the leader of Janjaweed Rapid Support Forces, the declared terms are ten clauses, superseding and nullifying most of the terms of the announced Peace Agreement signed in Juba on October 3, 2020,
The terms of the secret agreement between Hemeti and the leaders of the (SRF) and Minawi’s movement are as follows:
1. No handing over the presidency of the Sovereign Council to the civilian component of the Sudanese transitional government,
2. Removal of the parties of (GAHT) coalition from the government according to certain arrangements,
3. Not to handover any wanted Sudanese, at large, to the International Criminal Court,
4. Closing the investigation of the sit-in massacre, June 3, 2019,
5. Recognizing the independence of the Rapid Support Forces and the specificity of their composition,
6. That the sovereign ministries of the Government of Sudan be distributed equally among the signatories of the agreement, the ministries are (the Council of Ministers, Finance, Foreign Affairs, Interior, Energy, and Minerals),
7. To provide support to the signatories for training purposes,
8. To ensure the stability of the situation in Darfur by issuing a ceasefire declaration by SAF,
9. To allow the undersigned armed movements to bring in 2,500 members of their forces,
10. To abolish the condition of not participating in the elections for everyone who participated in the transitional government,
And since the signing of the Juba Agreement for Sudan Peace on October 3, 2020, we have not seen the implementation of its terms other than the appointment of the Governor of the Darfur region and the Wali’s of the states, and as soon as their appointment was announced, they quickly went to the capitals of the states to which they were appointed, they did not ask the one who appointed them: What are we going to do there, they have neither a constitution, law, government, nor a budget to help them perform the tasks set forth in the peace agreement,
They all went there, the Governor of the Darfur region and the Wali’s of states, to fall into the arms of the Janjaweed, who signed the secret agreement with them, and received the price.
. Therefore, on August 10, 2021, when the Governor of the Darfur region arrived in Elfashir City, the capital of the region, bloody massacres were witnessed in the Kolgai area. On the second day August 11, 2021, Janjaweed RDF ambushed a patrol of armed movements and many of them were martyrdom in it, Major General Ibrahim Benbino and his companions, the Janjaweed were implementing the terms of the secret agreement and not bothering anyone. The investigation of this ambush and aggression in the Kolgai area resulted in the killing and rape of people, displacing them to IDP camps, occupying their land, which was entrusted to a commission of inquiry, appointed by the aggressor himself, and no results are waited from.
. In addition, all the crimes committed by the Security Committee of the former regime have been entrusted to commissions of inquiry that have not and will not present the results of their investigation until today, until the coup of October 25, 2021, ends, and until the military removed from the equation of governance in Sudan and the slogans of the revolution (the military for the barracks and the Janjaweed are dissolved, there is neither legitimacy nor Negotiations or partnership with the military). At that time, the results of all the massacres and atrocities killed by fake investigation committees will appear, the sun of truth will shine with clarity, the lists of perpetrators of massacres, crimes, and violations will be revealed, and the perpetrators will be brought to the courts, justice will prevail, and the goals and slogans of the Sudanese people’s glorious victorious revolution will be realized: freedom, peace and justice, Revolution is the people's choice.
. People saw the terms of the secret agreement that contradict and destroy the contents of the Juba Agreement, which was signed in Juba on October 3, 2020, between the government of the Republic of South Sudan, and the (SRF) in the presence of the platform’s partners and international and regional observers, was transmitted live to the world through news agencies and international and regional satellite channels, then the parties to the agreement went to Khartoum to bring good tidings to the Sudanese people and the victims of wars and conflicts, especially the signed agreement and its contents, in which their aspirations to peace and compensation of the damages caused by the ethnic cleansing, genocide, and war crimes would be realized.
So, the Kraynik massacre has its reference and motives of perpetrating it due to the secret agreement set out above. The reaction of the leaders of the October 25,2021coup government to this massacre is to deny its perpetration, and they formed a committee to investigate it and submit its report to the same government that committed the massacre, and set up the investigation committee!, hence, Kraynik massacre will follow the previous massacres of the coup government. This is understood from the reactions of the parties to the secret agreement to the horrific massacre that bloodied the conscience of humanity, so let's look at how the reactions of the parties to the secret and public Juba Agreement came on the Kraynik massacre on April 24, 2022:
. The first reactions to the Kraynik massacre came from the Wali of North Darfur State, Nimr Abdel Rahman, who declared: “The Kraynik massacre occurred as a result of not accepting the other!” He did not explain who is the other that not accepted in the Kraynik massacre؟ The perpetrator or the victim؟
Wali Nimr is the one who recently established a state commission for the Janjaweed in the name of the Shepherds and Farmers Commission and appointed a commissioner for it the so-called Janjaweed Ahmed Bahia, that was on April 19, 2022, the Governor of North Darfur, Nimr Abdul Rahman, issued a decree appointing Ahmed Abdullah Omar Bahia as Commissioner of the Nomadic Shepherds Commission and the farmers, instructed his government to implement the decree immediately. Ahmed Abdullah Omar Bahia, who was appointed as commissioner of the nomadic Janjaweed and farmers, is the first perpetrator of the crimes in the Kolgai area that began in July and August 2021 led to the expulsion of citizens from their villages and farms then confiscated by Janjaweed Rapid Support Militias. This appointment portends the empowerment of the Janjaweed are on this usurped land and the citizens are not able to return to their villages to plow their farms and autumn is at the door, and this appointment came at this time to enable the Janjaweed Ahmed Bahia to prevent the citizens from returning to their villages and farms. With the blessing of the Wali of the state, Nimr Abdul Rahman,
This Ahmed Bahia was part of the (10 + 10) committee, which was made by Mohamed Hassan Al-Taishi, the architect of those series of crimes of that season carried out under his direct supervision from the crime scene, and the Joint Panel headed by the Wali Nimr Abdul Rahman. Janjaweed Ahmed Bahia is the one who said the following in the meeting of the committee (ten + ten):
. (I will not collect weapons and materials from my family and clan no matter what, and there is no authority to force me to do so), he said this before a high committee in the presence of Mohamed Hassan Taishi, and a group of representatives of armed movements but no one uttered a single word to oppose him. Ahmed Bahia is the one who falsely pretended that the Shattia Arabs are the owners of the land of Kolgai, Gallab areas, and a large area of ​​the localities of Tawila, Tarni and Kattal. By appointing Ahmed Bahia as commissioner of the Janjaweed, the “Wali” Nimr Abdul Rahman implements the terms of the secret agreement.
A question arises: Does the Wali Nimr have a government that consists of ministers and commissioners etc.؟ Or Ahmed Bahia is the first and last member of his government, and he was appointed by order of his master Hemeti؟
. Al-Hadi Idris, a comrade of Nimr Abdel Rahman and a member of the Sovereign Council of the October 25, 2021 coup, commented on the Kraynik massacre of April 24, 2022, to the Sky News channel as follows:
. The absence of state prestige is the reason for the bloodshed in Darfur. The roots of the crisis go back to the former regime, and the absence of transitional justice due to the failure to implement the Juba Agreement a year and a half after its signing. We welcome international intervention if the bloodshed continues because the current conditions are similar to those of 2003. The army seized power on October 25, 2021, made Sudan a failed state! He was part of that coup,
. Among the reactions to the Kraynik massacre were the statements made by Hemiti and Minawi in the latter’s house at Al- Mohandessin Area- Omdurman, on the second day of the Eid al-Fitr. They try to repeatedly deceive people as usual. Hemiti said that the Rapid Support Militias did not attack Kraynik and did not commit the terrible massacre that killed 201 innocent civilians, and hundreds of injured people, and denied the fact that 150 land cruisers of the Rapid Support Janjaweed participated in the attack on Kraynik and the execution of the massacre, according to eyewitnesses who witnessed the massacre and declared it directly from the battlefield. He said a panel for investigation on the massacre is appointed and that he is committed to the results of the investigation, but he knows that no investigation will take place, and he will not abide by its results, because the matter will end up spreading these lies to relieve pressure only.
. These reactions to the Kraynik massacre are unsuccessful and blatant justifications by the parties to the secret agreement between the leader of the Janjaweed and the leaders of the armed movements in Juba. Therefore, the culmination of their efforts to deny their involvement and responsibility for the massacre was an absolute failure. The massacre is confirmed by the direct testimonies of the victims and material evidence, beyond the reasonable doubt, and that the perpetrator, the investigator, and the judge are one person, Hemeti and company, Al-Burhan and the leaders of the Banana sit-in, the parties to the secret Juba Agreement, the partners of the October 25, 2021 coup.
. Moreover, the first step in implementing the secret agreement of the parties to the Juba Agreement is the conspiracy to expel the UNAMID mission from Darfur, and later, looting its headquarters, especially its main headquarters (Super Camp) located west of El Fashir city, where the parties to the Juba Agreement conspired, agreed and implemented the conspiracy to expel UNAMID without an alternative, leaving the people of Darfur vulnerable without protection, to suffered more genocide and ethnic cleansing raid of Janjaweed started since 2002, Darfur civilians left Vulnerable, exposed to Janjaweed without protection from the coup government / and Minnawi the Governor of Darfur region formed a panel to investigate the incidents of looting the headquarters of UNAMID (Super Camp), and looting and burning of warehouses of the United Nations / World Food Program (WFP) in El Fashir, but no investigation will take place and no results will come out of it, like the rest of the investigation committees that started with Mr. Nabil Adeeb’s committee to investigate the massacre of the dispersal of the sit-in on June 3, 2019, because the one who constitutes the investigation committees is the perpetrator of all these massacres himself, the killer who carried out the massacre of the dispersal of the sit-in and all the massacres that followed until the Kraynik massacre. The one who looted Super Camp UNAMID headquarters and WFP stores is the same perpetrator who committed all the massacres, since April 11, 2019,
The last panel of investigation formed to investigate the Kraynik massacre will not investigate the massacre and will not present the results of an investigation, and it will not be the last committee formed to cast ashes in the eyes of the Sudanese people and the whole world,
. The joint mission of the United Nations and the African Union (UNAMID) whose first task is to be an eyewitness who watches and monitors the behavior of the parties to the armed conflict in Darfur, to monitor the violations they commit, then verify and report documented reports with evidence and dates to the highest international organizations, this is the first task of UNAMID Monitoring, Verification and Reporting, then carrying out the duty to protect. Therefore, the Sudanese parties conspired to expel UNAMID from Darfur in order to get rid of the watchdog and the only eyewitness to their crimes against the people of Darfur to deprive them of the right to protection,
.The beginning of the buildup of the secret agreement that created the high treason was sending the foreign mercenary leader of the Janjaweed militia, the so-called Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo "Hemeti", as chief negotiator of the Transitional Government of Sudan to Juba to negotiate with the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) and the delegations of the other tracks "East, North, and Center".
. The fact that the transitional government’s sent the leader of the Janjaweed Hemeti as its representative and head of its negotiating delegation to Juba, and the leaders of the (SRF), accepting a delegation of the Government of Sudan led by Hemeti was a great betrayal to the Republic of Sudan, and a resounding moral degeneration from all parties. Meanwhile, the Sudan Liberation Movement/ Army-North, and its enlightened leader Comrade Abdelaziz Adam Al-Hilu, has never hesitated to publicly declare his refusal to cooperate or negotiate with any delegation of the Transitional Government of Sudan led by the so-called Hemeti, because he is a foreigner, a mercenary, not an honorable patriot, and a perpetrator who commits war crimes, ethnic cleansing and genocide in Darfur and allover Sudan. Collective action in Darfur and the rest of the Sudanese regions, and a fugitive accused wanted by international justice. The voice of the leader of the SPLM-North was resounding like a thunderbolt, shaking the corners of the globe, while the leaders of the (SRF) remained silent, ashamed, and disdainful. Their moral betrayal of their comrade’s martyrs who were killed by the Janjaweed, the honor of their women that the Janjaweed violated, and the human dignity that they squandered and sold cheaply to Hemeti, for some of the money that he was bought by the government of the defunct Omar al-Bashir, these are the facts, to take or to leave.
. The Janjaweed leader Hemeti negotiated in Juba not to achieve peace or solve the problem of Darfur and Sudan because that is not one of his priorities or interests. But he negotiated in Juba - secretly - with the leaders of the (SRF) of Darfur Movements, to achieve personal gains for himself and his Janjaweed gang, as follows:
. Hemeti acceptance as the chief negotiator for the Government of Sudan earned him Sudanese citizenship, and status of a great leader in the Sudanese army SAF, and legal legitimacy that transformed him from a criminal mercenary wanted by the International Criminal Court ICC to an honorable citizen and a respected statesman, this foreign mercenary Hemeti, do not deserve these gains without this high treason jointly committed,
. The leader of the Janjaweed Hemeti is a foreign occupier, who was rewarded by the late Omar al-Bashir by giving him the land of the Darfur region in return for his acceptance to kill and exterminate the indigenous people there. So, the SPLM-N refused to deal with him, but the Darfur movements and the (SRF) accepted him. The countries of the “Axis of Evil” and the defunct government of al-Bashir, and these movement leaders did not know that the land of Darfur is owned by the people of Darfur and not owned by the defunct Omar al-Bashir, nor did the leaders of the armed movements have the right to sell it to the Janjaweed foreign invaders, and these Janjaweed are African gypsies who roam the land to corrupt, kill and destroy everything,
. The Sudanese Revolutionary Front and the parties of the Juba venue had enabled the Janjaweed leader Hemeti to impunity, to escape accountability, and made him a national hero, some of them nominated him for international peace prizes, even though he does not believe in Sudan and deals as a colonial occupier who places in the office he occupies in the Sudanese Republican Palace the yellow flag of the Janjaweed, in clear defiance of Sudan its Republican Palace. However, the leader of the Janjaweed in Juba was not rejected by any other one, only the leader of the SPLM /North. Consciousness is a homeland,
. The Juba secret agreement completely disrupted the Juba public agreement signed there, and they extensively distributed, throwing dust in the eyes and blinding them from seeing the secret agreement, but no way. “The reality of the situation is a conclusive evidence”,
. The Governor of the Darfur region, and the wali’s of the five states of Darfur, went in humiliation to the flaming and occupied region by the Janjaweed, they went there powerless, they do not have a constitution to govern the region and its states, not even a mere law that defines the powers and authorities, they went without any power authorizing them to appoint the regional government and states governments, they went there to work under the command of the Janjaweed Rapid Support Forces.
. Therefore, when people lose their land, they have lost their honor, citizenship, human dignity, authority, and national sovereignty. This is what happened now to the people of Darfur who are abused by the Janjaweed every day in the implementation of the secret agreement between Hameti and the leaders of the armed movements who sold Darfur land, people, and resources to the Janjaweed tyrant, Hemeti Daglo. Evidence for these facts is available beyond doubt, and we can summarize in the following:
. Janjaweed’s aggression against the citizens of Kolgai and Tarni areas of Tawila Municipality, coincided with the inauguration ceremony of the governor of the region in El Fashir, in the presence of the Wali of the North Darfur State, and they did not say a single word.
.The Janjaweed ambushed the Movement forces patrol at the RADMYIA Road linking Elfashir and Nylah passed without accountability,
. Aggression on Krayndeek IDPs camp two times passed without accountability,
. The UNAMID headquarters (Super Camp) was looted without question,
. The WFP warehouses / Elfashir were looted and burned, and no perpetrators led to justice,
. Last but not least, the Kraynik massacre of April 24, 2022, remains without accountability like the others,
. In order to establish the status quo, the Wali of North Darfur had appointed the extremist Janjaweed Ahmed Bahia a commissioner of Janjaweed nomads, he is actually the de facto ruler of the state,
In the face of this reality, what should be done, and what is the way forward؟ :
. The December 2018 Sudanese Revolt should continue ahead to achieve its targets, as renewed in the post-coup version of October 25, 2021, which struggles relentlessly to overthrow the coup and hold its symbols accountable, “no legitimacy, no negotiation, no partnership with the military”, “the military to the barracks, and the Janjaweed should dissolve,”
.To absolutely reiterate and assure that: the Sudanese people cannot live together with the Janjaweed in Sudan, and the land of Sudan territory is not, and will not, suffice them together,
. Hence, based on the foregoing, the Sudanese people must collectively take the following decisions through their Revolutionary Committees and Professional Gatherings:
1. All formations of Janjaweed are not Sudanese, they are foreign terrorist mercenaries occupying Sudan and wreaking havoc in it. They must evacuate Sudan immediately, voluntarily or forcibly,
2. Immediate dissolution of the Rapid Support Forces, fire their leaders from all positions in the country, disarm them, and tear out their ranks and salaries. The Sudanese people refuse to pay salaries to their killers, which is not fair,
3. To formally inform the African Union, that the Sudanese people had, unanimously, taken decisions against the presence of Janjaweed in Sudan, and their danger to peace, security and stability in the African continent, requesting assistance and participation in the efforts made by the Sudanese people to eliminate the Janjaweed sedition, and request for a regional conference to discuss the Janjaweed threat to security, peace, and stability in the African continent;
4. To seriously warn the Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the commander-in-chief of the SAF, to determine his position on the Rapid Support Janjaweed, and to disengage his army from them,
5. To seriously warn the armed movements that signed the Juba Agreement in October 2020 to determine their position on the Janjaweed and resolve their secret agreements with the leader of the Janjaweed Rapid Support, Hemeti,
6. To postpone the Juba Agreement, both public and secret versions, until further notice, as it is associated with horrific moral violations,
7. To open a transparent dialogue with the countries of the Axis of Evil (the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt) to convince them that the Janjaweed are foreign mercenaries, and to stop supporting the Janjaweed or using them in proxy wars in other countries, and otherwise to transfer the Janjaweed to their country and use them from there and not from Sudan. The Republic of Sudan shall cut its relations with these countries until the strife of the Janjaweed is eliminated,
8. Sudan proposes a building-up of Sudanese / African army to eliminate the Janjaweed sedition, Janjaweed is a deadly pandemic more than any other,
9. Russia supports Janjaweed, and exchanges benefit with them, Sudan resources are smuggled by the Janjaweed to Moscow. In return, the Russian Wagner security company trains and qualifies the Janjaweed to wreak havoc on the land. In reciprocity, Sudan shall build a coalition with the Western democratic countries led by the USA, UK, the EU, and Troika, and Sudan shall ask His allies for logistics and support to defeat and eradicate the Janjaweed, only that will stop the expansion of Russian influence in Africa,
10. Because the current situation in the Darfur region is characterized by vulnerability, and seriously endangers the international peace and security, hence people of the Republic of Sudan, unanimously, urge the Security Council / the United Nations to issue resolutions to immediate deployment of an international mission in the Darfur region, under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, because the region is occupied by the Janjaweed, and its people are suffering under the atrocities of ethnic cleansing and genocide. Furthermore, the armed movements there had entered into secret agreements with the Janjaweed and allied with them, and they became partners, with no difference between them.
Finally:
. The secret agreement between the leader of the Janjaweed and the leaders of the Revolutionary Front movements in Juba is considered high treason, a national betrayal, and unjustified moral degeneration, which resulted in the negative results mentioned above,
. Morals are the basis of the life of nations: nations are morals as long as they remain, and if their morals are gone, they are gone (the Egyptian poet Ahmed Shawqi),
. Religions were revealed to the prophets and messengers to perfect good morals, and on that line came the (Hadith) of the final Messenger, Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) he said: (I was sent to perfect morals). Therefore, it is not permissible to empty religion of its moral content,
. Dr. Al-Walid Madbo says in his book “The Sinful City”: (Awareness is not achieved for a person who lives in a social climate of hypocrisy, and a political authority that seeks to lie. The scourge is to direct morals politically, and the solution is to guide politics morally).
. Ethics is the system of values ​​that people consider the basis of life and the goodness of nations, peoples, and states.
. Ethics is the basis of civilization, and the means of dealing with people, either adhering to the rules of morality in all cases or the flood.
