In fact the reason in writing this article based on self -imagination of new Sudan with new political system. Nationally we suffer from complete oppression and internationally we are on the list of the most dangerous countries in reference of supporting terrorism. This chaos listed us in the US economic sanction. Perhaps, from the US manifestation is to put an economic pressure will weaken the regime and force to change their agenda. It could be argued that the economic sanction greatly affect Sudanese people in their lives. It becomes hugely important for the Islamists to review its agenda to at least allow the Sudanese people to survive. It’s clear that the National congress party (NCP) failed to implement the required formation to its institutions and rectify Sudan position. As a matter of fact, the Islamic regimes have not ever been an efficient system because has never prioritize the needs of its own people. Especially in Sudan where there are various cultures and diversity making the process of meeting those needs quite difficult and required highly integrated approaches. The priority of any Islamic regime whatever the ideology is to stay in power for lifelong and fighting for this. Many examples can be clearly seen at present in different conflicted regions. This article will look into Sudan as a country and the NCP political party in power as controversial phenomena in our recent time.
Broadly speaking, what would be the situation if there is no economic sanction in place on the country؟. First, it is sadly to say that but nothing could work as long as the regime itself suffers from lacking of leadership. Secondly, the Islamists political agenda does not fulfil the global economics policies and by which is extremely hard to emerge within it. Thirdly, one can think about the formation of democratic nation and how it can replace the Islamist regimes, it is no doubt establishing democratic nation in exchange to an Islamic system is one of the hardest things due to the sophistications derived from the manifestations of both. Indeed, not saying it is impossible but need a real hard works and determination by considering South Africa as an example indeed not as an Islamic country but as a country was suffered from radical racism ,’’ It seems impossible until it’s done’’(Nelson Mandela). Further, The critical issues that might be a problematic not merely demonstrated on the means of change or the outcomes, but mainly concern with the process involved in the change. This process can be called transformation process it emerges various stages and concepts. One can imagine that if the Islamic regime upholds the means of democracy and engage into the transformation process it is a good move towards democracy. Arguably, many things could happen during the transformation process represented in disagreements and it often leads to conflicts. Perhaps, if things went fine during the transformation process this could result in positive outcomes. These outcomes will have great impact on the Sudanese people and the international position of Sudan at large.
It is worthy to highlight that the central idea of the Islamic movement suffer from the lack of consistent framework or may be exist but inefficient. This could be widely noticed from what we are experiencing now in Sudan. Presumably, if there is framework then the question could be raised, does it efficient enough to cope with the requirement of the 21st century؟. By looking for any possible solutions on hand such as dealing with the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa). In believing these countries are possible choices to help in manipulating the economic sanctions. Unfortunately these countries are biased to the US policy and have nothing to do or to offer to Sudan economies. The BRICS countries are within the emerging economies and they have their own issues represented in the health system, education, social justice,…etc. Not being biased to the US policy but sadly Russia, India and China are heavily concern in supplying military equipments which are being used for the benefit of the regime. Russia and China serve its economics in increasing their efforts to maintain competitive strategic position within the conflicted regions, which entails immoral position and contradict with the global trade best practices. Global policy is quite complex but beforehand it is essentially to the current politics in Sudan to review its position and look at the Sudanese people as the central heart of the issue. Challenging the sanction and the US policy would not be the solution but internal policies justification could reassemble the critical issues. Therefore, Setting up an action plan by the current regime as means and then engage in the transformation process to reform new agenda for the benefit of the country, this may result in better outcomes demonstrated in economics stability and social peace.
