It is commendable that you-Maysoon and your cohort realized the need for the unity of the left of centre politics in Sudan. I agree, it is desperately needed and without it all will lose including those who are making it difficult at the moment. To me, the distinction between the left and "Elqua Elhaditha" is a bit of splitting hair and somehow there are the same thing.
All those splinter groups-including your two- from the left of centre of politics needs to continue to evaluate: what went wrong in the decades of failed attempts to unite the left??
It seems in the recent events you described, there have been two groups of people with different plan already! who did not sit before the conference to solve the brewing feud! From personal and other peoples' experiences "personality clashes is the commonest single cause of such events. It is endemic and God seem to have endowed us with a generous dose of it
If the single most important attribute of a leader-any leader leading anything- is vision and strategic thinking the wide left has never had a leader yet! For most of those I could think of spent most of their times trying to solve internal disputes within the left with considerable loss of energy!!So they ended up sort of manager not leaders
If the dominator-to be is soon to be the leader of our country, it would have been somewhat understandable to have clashes of personality and Ego of this scale. However, the best that one can realistically hope for, and for the short to medium term, is some influence of the country's politics. What are these people fighting for?? I am sure many will put it as “fighting for their principles!! Whatever that means!
Finally, who is there to adjudicate on the legality of the conference in question? Is there any legal redress in Sudan for situations like this?
I hope that I have not derailed your post off course?
