SPLM appoints sixteen Ambassadors from Southern Sudan

The Sudan People's Liberation Movement and the second partner in the Government of National Unity and the leading party in the Government of Southern Sudan has appointed sixteen Ambassadors from Southern Sudan in accordance with the article 2.6.2 of the power sharing of protocol of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. > > The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Sudan, Dr. Lam Akol Ajaween confirmed on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 that the President of the Republic, Omer Hassan Al-Bashir has approved the SPLM's nomination of sixteen Southern Sudanese Ambassadors as stipulated in the power sharing portfolios of the CPA. Doctor Lam did not mention to which countries the news ambassadors are appointed.
The Southern designated Ambassadors are as follows: 1- Mr. John Ukac Lueth, 2- Dr. Francis Mading Deng, 3- Mr. Andrew Makur Thou, 4- Mr. Steven Kiliona Wondu, 5- Rev. Doctor Eluzai Moga Yokwe, 6- Mr. Moses Majwok Akol, 7- Mr. Majok Gwandog Thiep, 8- Mr. Paul Macuei Malok, 9- Mr. Lumumba Stanislaus-Kawdi-Aping, 10- Mr. Akuei Bona Malwal, 11- Mr. Samuel Odat Ayul, 12- Dr. El-Wathig Mohammed Kameir, 13- Dr. Akec Khoc Acieu, 14- Mr. Anthony Lousi Kon, 15- Mr. Sebit Alley Abe, and 16- Mr. Ajing Adiang Marik.
