i'm trying to improve my Arabic typing skills, but sometimes thoughts are racing, and you want to capture them as quick as you can! ( i don’t want 2 wait 4 days b4 i can articulate and type them!)
speaking in English almost everyday, I find myself thinking in both languages, and I see no problem with that…
Thanks for Martin Luther, although his words are (ever-so-slightly) irrelevant to my idea here!
My idea? Imagine this:
You’re a seven year old, standing with thirty-something kids in a school-yard in Al-Jabalain, in front of the nation flag and you are all singing in one voice:
I’m a Sudanese… my soul is as free as the birds of this land
I’m Sudanese… Unique and different, equal and respected
I’m Sudanese… My nation is the human race
My flag is respect and diversity!
I live in this land because of destiny
I live with you and the others,
because we all made this choice
I’m Sudanese, my only pride is my humanity
what do you think?!
