In 2005, the International Community made a statement, conveyed by the International Crisis Group (ICG), indicating that “Unifying Darfur's Rebels: A Prerequisite for Peace”. However, the last twelve lean years since the outbreak of the Darfur people’s revolution have demonstrated the emptiness and vacuousness of that argument. The International Crisis Group (ICG) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO) committed to preventing and resolving deadly conflict, according to their Homepage http://www.crisisgroup.org/. Furthermore, the group continued elaborating the role they play saying that it was founded in 1995 and carries out field research on violent conflict and advances policies to prevent, mitigate or resolve conflict. It advocates policies directly with governments, multilateral organisations and other political actors as well as the media.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Crisis_Group. Crisis Group's international headquarters have been in Brussels, with 'advocacy offices' in Washington DC.
The (ICG) said at the time of their famous statement in 2005 that: Insecurity in Darfur remains pervasive despite a decline in direct, large-scale fighting between the government and the two main rebel movements, the Sudan Liberation Army/Movement (SLA) and the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM). Maintaining the present uneasy status quo is not the answer. The Khartoum government continues to flout its numerous commitments to neutralise its allied proxy militia, the Janjaweed, and more than two million civilians displaced by the conflict will not return home without a comprehensive political settlement including security guarantees. But the problem is not just on the government side: discord within and between the rebel movements also needs to be resolved if there is to be a chance for lasting peace.
Since that statement the world represented in the major institutions of the United Nations (UN), the African Union (AU), the Organization of Arab States(OAS), the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) formerly Organization of the Islamic Conference) (OIC) as well as tremendous amount of peace agreements between the Government of Sudan (GoS) and the Darfur rebel Movements (SLAM/A) and JEM), starting from Abéché and Ndjamena in Chad to Abuja in Nigeria, Sirte in Libya, Arusha in Tanzania, Doha in the Arab Gulf State of Qatar, and roundtrips for never-ending meetings in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. At the time of most of the meetings referred to, the main rebel s movements individually and jointly signed marathon peace covenants known metaphorically ‘peace agreements’, which the National Congress Party (NCP) regime did not comply with and continued to kill unarmed noncombatant civilians with aerial bombardment using warplanes. Thus, in spite of the formation of , the (NCP) regime did not fulfil its promise towards the conventions concluded with the parties to the conflict.
As all know that the Darfur rebel movements took up arms in 2003, accusing the government of Sudan (GoS) discriminating against the Sudanese people residents in the region of Darfur and denying them sharing power sand wealth of the country.
Based on the behaviour of the (GoS) denial towards the agreements concluded between it and the parties in the conflict, people kept saying, in response to the statement made by the (ICG) in 2005 that it was better to be said that the” demise of the regime of the NCP is the basic prerequisite for sustainable peace in the Darfur region in particular and the rest of Sudan in general “!
‎ Darfur peace agreements the expectations of which unfulfilled include Abuja Agreement (DPA) (2006) , ‎Doha DDPD Agreement (2011)
The foregoing situation of addiction of denial of reality resulted from the lack of modesty and morality is the feature that characterizes the Khartoum regime. To challenge the everlasting permanent position of the government of Sudan (GoS) under the leadership of the NCP President the genocidal criminal, Omar Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir one would like to recall the studious efforts exercised by the Darfur rebel movements, over the years, to unify their ranks, as follows:
• Soon after the defunct Abuja Peace Agreement the rebel group formed the National Salvation Front (NSF), an umbrella alliance of the rebels refused signing the Abuja Agreement (DPA) of 2006. The Forces of the NSF attacked the town of Hamra al-Sheikh, which is located in North Kordofan province, next to the Darfur region in western Sudan. The attack was an attempt by the Darfur rebels to transfer the conflict to other parts of Sudan.
• The Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) is a coalition between the rebel groups in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile formed on 11.11 2011. They include Darfur rebels:

(1) Justice and Equality Movement (JEM)

(2) Sudan Liberation Movement/Army - Abdul Wahid (SLM-AW/SLA-AW)

(3) Sudan Liberation Movement/Army - Minni Minnawi (SLM-MM/SLA-MM)

(4) And rebels from South Kordofan and Blue Nile States: Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army - Northern Sector (SPLM-N/SPLA-N)
• The New Dawn Document (NDD) to which joined by the side of the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) important personalities from the Sudanese parties, the National Umma Party (NUP), the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) and the Eastern Front.
• Paris Call Alliance into which joined besides the (SRF), Sadiq al-Mahdi leader of the (NUP
• Sudan Call group to which joined besides the (SRF) Farouq Abu Eissa leader of the umbrella of Sudanese political opposition parties Farouk Abu Issa chief of the forces of national consensus (NCF) and Dr. Amin Mekki Medani monitor of the protection of human rights defenders
• Berlin Call where the rebel movements proved their sincerity of uniting ranks within themselves and allying with other Sudanese opposition to confront the (NCP) dictatorship, which has become a stumbling block to let the country to Kicks off towards the space of freedom, democracy and a decent life for people in all regions of Sudan, including Darfur. The Muslim Brotherhood Movement (MBM) regime of the genocidal criminal al-Bashir has incapacitated Sudan by wedging the civil wars of attrition through the proxy Janjaweed militias acting for the survival of Omar al-Bashir and his evil entourage in power and protecting him away from the apprehension of the International Criminal Court (ICC) who indicted him on .
Thus, the Darfur armed rebel movements of the Sudan Justice and Equality Movement (JEM), Sudan Liberation Movement- Minni Minnawi (SLAM-MM) and Sudan Liberation Movement – Abdel Wahid (SLAM-AW) have successfully joined each other. Moreover, they managed in making alliances with the Sudanese civilian opposition for the cause of the disentranced people of Sudan and for confronting the oppression of the Muslim Brotherhood Movement (MBM) regime in Khartoum.
Of the objectives of the ruling regime of the NCP during meetings of Addis Ababa under the auspices of the AU, is the unwillingness to discuss issues with the seriousness and escape from reality and gain time and thwart opponents and more torture of the people of Darfur. Unfortunately, the Brawling partners brought together by the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) especially the unusual positions taken by the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North (SPLM/A-N) lately, which have shown to have a different agenda for a new project from the goals of the comrades in the (SRF). Moreover, some international community members tend to support/put confidence on the likely viable alternative among the parties in the Darfur issue, particularly the GoS.
Running Saga
The role of the running saga under the auspices of the AU's AUHIP chaired by former President South Africa Thabo Mbeki into which the Sudanese opposition factions both Armed and Civilian scramble to watch has played a significant role in stalling genuine efforts for ousting the (NCP) regime. It only provided breathtaking moments for the tyrant al-Bashir. The circuit play in Addis Ababa proved devoid of any beneficial effect to the Sudanese crises but only securing longevity to the NCP at the expense of the continuing daily suffering of the masses in Sudan. Furthermore, the so-called Preparatory Conference in Addis Ababa that is intended to be attended by the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) and the GoS Committee known 7+7 commission for the National Dialogue on in 7 December 2015 is unlikely to take place for the obvious reasons for being devoid of any feasibly for the expected outcomes.
Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir’s Atrocities in Darfur include:
• 500,000 killed of the total population estimated in 2008 as 7515445 inhabitants
• 4 million displaced living in 114 camps for IDPs in Darfur
• Number of them live in13 Camps for refugees in Chad
• The total area of the Darfur region of 114000 Square Miles remains a no go territory reigned by terror of the Janjaweed militias, codenamed the Rapid Support Force (RSF)
• When the President of the NCP regime Bashir felt rest assured announced what is referred to by the Sudanese people as Wathba Dialogue, for the sake of sarcasm , mocking to divert the attention of the opposition components away from the issues of concern to the peoples of Sudan and Omar al-Bashir to be able to continue ruling for more lean years to be added to past quarter-century
• Unfortunately, the International and the regional communities still counting on the lies, maneuvering and the intransigence of the Muslim Brotherhood Movement (MBM) regime in Sudan in spite of the plethora of UNSC Resolutions against the regime in Khartoum.
• More than Twenty Resolutions issued by the UN Security Council (UNSC) on Darfur within 5 years have not been implemented
• Heinous Crimes are committed in Darfur on daily basis including gang rape of more than 200 women and young girls in the Town of Tabit in October 2014 in spite of the presence of the United Nations-African Union Hybrid operation in Darfur (UNAMID)
Based on the above mentioned facts, we are in a situation to say, contrary to the (ICG) statement of 2005 I referred to earlier, that the demise of the regime of the NCP, led by the Muslim Brotherhood movement (MBM) with its multitude nominations, is the prerequisite for sustainable peace to the Darfur region of Sudan and the rest of the regions of the country.
Anne Hutchinson is quoted as saying “One may preach a covenant of grace more clearly than another But when they preach a covenant of works for salvation, that is not truth”.http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/keywords/covenant.html#1bUdIF0tYUFCc9pz.99http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/keywords/covenant.html#1bUdIF0tYUFCc9pz.99
