Re: I thought of him today!!i (Re: farda)

Bakir is not a member of Sudaneseonline as far as I know. He wrote his impressions that look like this post of Hafiz but in Alfikra Minbar sometime ago:
    ´´´´´§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§

First, excuse me for not writing in Arabic as I have no Arabic keyboard and probably easier for me to write in English at the moment.

I found the10 articles by Dr. Omer Alguray titled

حول مقالات د. عبد الله علي ابراهيم في الدفاع عن الفقهاء وقوانينهم
الدين .. ورجال الدين عبر السنين

both joyful and mind stimulating...deepest respect...

The article web link is attached herewith: http://alfikra.org/articles/article_107j.htm

A thought crossed my mind when I read through the last and final article (no.10). Why not The-Republicans or/and family members prepare to launch a new trial to pursue justice (!) in the international courts for the grave loss humanity endured since 18 Jan 1985…..

I also take this opportunity to pay my sincere condolences to Uthtaz M M Taha’s family and brothers.

I think Justice mechanisms in the world today are more available than in the 1980s, (!) at least that’s my opinion take for example Slobodan Mylosovic and people of his like are being sued for their crimes in the international courts.

I find the shameful inhuman hostility, cruelty and above all ignorance shown towards this great thinker all the way along his journey quite painful and probably death was mercy to him from the Merciful……………and God knows better.
I have no doubt (!) the journey was most painful for the man himself. I sensed that in his writings and from listening to his invaluable lectures here in these web pages, also I have no doubt it has been and will remain most beneficial for those who can comprehend his views.

Never mind the content of his thoughts, living for your thoughts and dieing PROTECTING them makes him Extra-Ordinary man. But, what is more extraordinary the thoughts themselves. For this reason not because of the enduring pain since his departure I felt people should pursue those responsible for this grave injustice in international courts.
(To pursue, and God-will, convict those responsible would be extra-complicated business and I would not envy those who would try but encourage and contribute)

It might take time but justice is always served.

The man died and thanks God the thoughts he left for us are beating alive.

I assume, the idea of developing and keeping these thoughts alive was the drive for others to create this invaluable Internet site, which without it, I do not know, how long it would have took me to recognise their existence. What’s ironic is; they existed and started developing since the early 40tys (!!).

These thoughts are so meaningful and I find them very scientific (as in mind acceptable). I am amazed about his analytical approach to complicated issues and how simple he can put them that leave you in denial sometimes (!). It is mind blowing. I believe he dedicated his work to humanity his thoughts discovered aspects that does not cross the mind of most of us especially at that time (the 1940s).

I am not saying lets have a statue or national day for M M TAHA because that is practically unachievable in the time being although I feel this day will come and not necessary in Sudan who knows (!) but certainly in Sudan if some other place got there first….

I believe one can contribute to these thoughts by maintaining and developing his work and this best done through re-opening the unjustified case that lead to his tragic death in the international arena only if the capabilities are there.

Today the international community deserve to know about M M TAHA the genius thinker.

I find the international courts idea reasonable way to put forward and hopefully share his thoughts with bigger audience. Who knows…. maybe someone somewhere with more capabilities than others can put forward and develop his work…….especially in places were there is more democracy than in other places.

I know almost nothing about legal procedures and technicalities but, based on facts, I hope professionals teachers and those who know more, would be aware if there could be a case (!?) put forward in front of a court somewhere in the land.

Probably I am not the first one who thought about international courts or maybe it has been done already……….…if this is the case ……excuse my ignorance.

I look forward to hear from people about when is the right time to take the case to court? And I remain most fond of the site, its fruitful content and looking forward to exploring and discovering more through it.

    Thanks,
    Bakir
