طيران الجيش السوداني يقصف ولاية بحر الغزال و يقتل 17 مواطنا

(JUBA - UNT) A new aerial bombing carried out by the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) killed 17 people today in the Western Bahr al-Ghazal state of South Sudan. The bombings wildly denied by the regime in Khartoum targeted mostly villagers and cattle herders in what seemed to have been a second ruthless and stepped-up attack by the SAF after Jau (Unity State) atrocities.

SPLA Spokesman, Colonel Philip Aguer said the bombings by the SAF is reaching a critical point which the international community needs to be alerted of. He alleged that, the regime in Khartoum wants to create havocs in South Sudan by igniting new rebellions so as to annex some parts of South Sudan to its territory.

"The motives behind these recklessnesses and mass bombings by the regime in Khartoum are clear, they want to destabilise South Sudan to the extend that it would be easy from them to annex any part of South Sudan they want", Aguer Said.

However, the Khartoum government strongly denied these accusations saying its military didn't take part in any aerial raids, adding that its Juba Government's usual intention of using political propagandas to cover up their intentions.

The SPLA spokesman also said the military is ready to defend by any means necessary to protect South Sudan sovereignty. "we are on a very high alert and we will react accordingly when the enemy strikes and when we feel its right time to do so"

Aguer also said that there are still bombings by SAF taking place in Jau in Unity State, and that has been going on for over two days.

Khartoum have repeatedly been accused of supporting rebellions in South Sudan by the Juba government. The relation between the two sisterly countries have been at doldrums and talks about oil transit fees and other post-CPA implementations have been at lockdowns.
