    Forgive the intrusion here, but this allegation is false and is not supported by a single event that took place during those days. Unfortunate too is the whole tone of the post

    If you wanted to test your thesis, all you had to do was turn it on its head and ask some very probing questions

    Like those that commented before me I think context is important. Moreover, the real test of your thesis lies in the manner of how every surviving (1971) member of the leadership secured his/her physical safety and if the Party was responsible for any such measures. This in my mind is the way of establishing the existence of a conspiracy as you have implicitly implied - I can assure you - you will find that no such conspiracy exists

    Unfortunately, I have come to believe much of the problem with the SCP and those that leave it - is an unrealistic/romantic image they hold of it as a political organ! The sooner we all realize that political affiliations are mere conscious choices that can change overtime - the better for all of us. There is no shame in moving on. Looking for personal validation by making scrambled eggs of historical events or pretending to be the heir/custodian to Abdul Khaliq's intellectual/political legacy as some EXs have done is not an effective way of explaining personal conduct and/or taking responsibility for it
