Altinweer was a cultural association. It was active befor the the emergence of Warag from under ground at the end of January 1999, and before the infamous Tawali law of 1999. Altinweer association includes some members of Haq, and supporters of the enlightenment project. It has been founded in 1998, one year before the Tawali law.Itis worthmentioning that the first press conference of Warag took place in the house that rented by Altinweer association. Several cultural associations, cultural centers, NGOs were established by some communists,and memebers of other opposition parties in Sudan during the 2nd half of 1990s.Unlike fancy NGOs in Khartoun 2 owned by some members of SCP, Altinweer was established in a rented small house in Alabassia, Omdurman. This cultural associations, cultural centers , non profit organizations weren't established according to the Tawali but other laws and regulations
Some of this laws dated back to 1925. You, and Khidir should know that the Twali law of 1999, and then the March 2000 party Law, deals mainly with establishing of political parties,it allows a very limited right of political association confined to those parties that support the project for an Islamic state.The law governing the " Twali" was issued in accordance with article 26 of the Salvation constitution, which stipulated that " People :
have the right of organizing " Political Tawali" on the condition that they must adhere to shura( consultation) and democracy in leading the organization. Persuasion should used, not finacial power, in competition and commitment to the principles of the constitution as regulated by that law." In the nutshell neither Haq, nor Altinweer have been established under the Tawali law of 1999. I CHALLENGE Khidir, and you to present any document to show that Altinweer has been established under Tawali law. You owe an apology to Warag, and the readers of this post for this un substantiated allegation. I think you have the guts and the courage to correct any false allegation you made
