Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
Meet with key stakeholders (youth, adults) to explain and encourage participation in Tdh project, mobilizes community committees
Settle community centres and play grounds, supervises recreational and occupational activities
Provide the national staff with psychosocial activities and training, acquires appropriate materials for non formal education and psychosocial activities
Identify separated and other vulnerable children, implement activities for children in need of special care (psychological support)
Provide health education messages to children and youth
Is the Tdh Child Protection Policy focal point for the project
Provide the country delegate with a weekly activity report
Qualifications required:
Advance degree in social sciences or related
Experience in trauma rehabilitation work and psychosocial assistance
Knowledge in education and social protection
Ability to write financial and narrative reports in English
Previous experience in a similar position as well as in emergency contexts and crisis
Candidates must be excellent team players
Developed communication and organisation skills, stress resistance and a strong sense of responsibility and adaptability
Candidates must be ready to work and live in conditions of limited comfort
Fluency in English

Contractual conditions: salaried position. Unaccompanied post.
