أطلقوا سراح أمال الزين يانظام القتلة وجهاز أمن الكيزان الغبي

The security forces detained comrade Amal Alzain member of the Polit Bureau of the SCP at 3 pm today Sunday the 22nd of May. Comrade Amal who was a member of the SCP delegation who met the Abdelwahid and Alhilo in Juba and Kawda respectively participated in the press conference organized by the SCP bureau for Information, at the SCP headquarters, during which the SCP delegation informed the local and international press about the results of their mission.
Following the press conference, while comrade Amal was on her way home, her car was forced to stop and the security forces arrested her.
This arrest of comrade Amal is clear proof of the continuation of the attacks perpetuated by the junta directed against the communist party. It is part of the general repression and persecution unleashed by the junta against the opposition forces mainly the SCP, the Resistance Committees, and democratic and patriotic forces.
The SCP strongly condemns the detention of comrade Amal Alzain and demands her immediate release.
The SCP calls on all communist, workers parties and all democratic organizations to demand the immediate release of comrade Amal and all political detainees.
