الحضور الكرام تحيه طيبه
الاخ دينق يمكن لا نختلف في رؤيتنا حول عربيه السوداني كثير لكن الحوار كي نصل الي حقائق الاشياء او تفهم وجهات النظر المختلفه هوافضل الطرق في اعتقادي
Describing her as a confused person is not a constructive way to get to the bottom of the problem and won't solve the identity crisis either, definitely I haven't asked my question because I'm ignorant or confused about my identity as a sudanese but I wanted to understand why she considers herself to be an arab ??having in mind that I share her ethnicity and faith but not the least in love with arabism. What makes her feels so strongly about arab nationalism, as she spoke about Iraq invasion to be a national problem.
اعتقد انها اشارت الي القوميه العربيه وربما تقصد القوميه الاسلاميه ان جاز هذا التعبير باعتبار ان العراق بلد اسلامي والغزاه مسيحيون.
Clearly I see that Islam has left no way for her to see things otherwise .I believe brother Deng U are well aware of the Term the Islamic nation which recognizes no national boundaries and hence u get Muslims from across the globe against the war from an Islamic stand i.e a muslim versus a nonmuslim.
It's not about precluding any arab connection and denying those who feel so but rather striking a balance between our arabism and africanism and accepting our sudanese identity without needing to relate to any of them as essential to our existence as a Sudanese nation.I know shiry for a good period of time and read her articles quite often but I have never seen her so emmotionally moved by war news in our home land and that is why I got interested to ask her and find out what makes her feels so strongly about this war.
So as not give a false impresssion about my stand on this war I consider it as a naked aggression ,an invasion and completely unwarranted .
It shouldn't be seen as an appeasement for an infamous savage tyrant like Saddam Hussein but out of the principle of wrong and right. Disarming him never needed a invasion ,to free the Iraqis from his iron fist by war comes at a very high price for the innocent Iraqis, besides I don't believe in the good of America or its willing supporters there are hidden agendas beside Oil, benefiting the American economy ( precisely the construction of shock and awe devastated- Iraq from its oil revenue),also we have the security and hegemony of Israel in the region which plays a great role in the american foreign policy and whose supporters and influencial Jewish figures like Wolfowitz ,Perle etc. are pulling the strings ,little Bush is a puppet not more.
I know that I digressed from the main theme under discussion which is the Sudanese identity but just wanted to give a full picture about my stand on the war as my question to shiry came within that context and to clearify any ambiguity which may arise.
Sorry shiry , for sounding like responding on your behalf to bro Deng's comment>I apologize for that .U can answer from your point of view.
