Five Sudanese arrested with Rs 2crore in dollars

MUMBAI: The Air Intelligence Unit of the Customs on Tuesday arrested five Sudan nationals for allegedly smuggling US dollars #####alent to Rs 2 crore. Officials also arrested an Indian national with 1.2kg gold worth Rs 34 lakh that was concealed in a baggage trolley.
Shaikh Zulkernain Ali was intercepted by the officers when he arrived at the international airport from Dubai after he cleared the customs and was proceeding towards the exit. Officers recovered four gold plates covered with silver color and stuck to the baggage trolley using transparent adhesive under the push cum-break handle.

So what happens after that؟ where does the gold or the dollar go؟ To the treasury or you can pay a fine and be done with it؟ I'm asking because I only read news about the arrest but not what happens after the arrest

A detailed examination of the bags of the four women —Abeir Hassan, Nashwa Elktheem, Fadwa Osman, Eatemad Ibrahim—and a man, Mohamed Ahmed, resulted in the recovery of the US dollars.
All five were arrested and further investigations are under progress.
