مانشستر تسجل وقفة تضامن مع الثورة في السودان - السبت 14 يوليو

The Sudanese people are currently suffering under a callous military theocratic dictatorship, the head of which is indicted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. In the last few weeks, people have started a revolt against the regime, consistent with the democratic change that is sweeping the region. The regime has resorted to brutal means to crush the revolt. Thousands of young people have been arrested tortured and incarcerated under atrocious conditions in Khartoum and other towns around the country. The brutal and illegal way, the regime is using to deal with the peaceful protest, only adds to its hideous record in Darfur, Nuba Mountains and other parts of Sudan.
In objection to the regime’s inhumane methods, and in support of the right of the people of Sudan for a peaceful protest, the Sudanese people in Manchester, their friends and lovers of freedom and human rights everywhere, are holding a Vigil/Gathering.

Location: Oxford Road, Manchester, All Saints, opposite 125 Oxford Road, Manchester M1 7DU.
The Vigil/Gathering includes: Music, shows, Sudanese food, coffee, exhibition and petitions.
