سلام عمر دفع الله والصحاب، هذه "أدناه" وجهة نظري في الحدث "الإستثماري المعني" والتي قلت بها للجهات المنظمة وبشكل عفوي وإرتجالي وفي أوانه وكما يمليه الضمير الحي ويقول به المنطق... جاء "الحديث" باللغة الإنجليزية لأنها كانت لغة المحفل:

Dear all,
This is just a quick point I would like to share you, aside the ongoing discussions on the “The Sudanese Dutch Private Investment Forum – 21 May ” (See, information at the end of my message).
Are there “ Possibilities of Doing Business in Sudan”?!... that was the issue of the main panel of the day of “The Sudanese Dutch Private Investment Forum) which held on 21 May at the “KvK” at the Hague, I was there for some time. Both parts (Dutch Sudanese organizers) told me personally “thnx them” days before the meeting is held that ït is only about “private sector”. I support private sector, I support business. I support any possible economic exchanges between Sudan and The Netherlands.
But, what is the private sector in Sudan?!.
The “ private sector” in general referred to as the citizen sector, which is run by private individuals or groups, usually as a means of enterprise for profit, and is not controlled by the state. By contrast, enterprises that are part of the state are part of the public sector. Private, non-profit organizations are regarded as part of the voluntary sector , also referred to as “civil society” which is a good area for controversy for instance many believes that the private sector itself is part and parcel of the “civil society.
The “private” sector in current Sudan is not found in its western sense, since the state “totalitarian” controls everything not only private sector as enterprise for profitbut also the voluntary sector. There is statistics with reliability shows that more than 85% of the private sector is owned by the ruling party, consequently the related laws and regulations of the state are designed to facilitate, ease and pave the way for the business of the ruling party, while disrupt the others, even in the context of the small margin available to them.
In case of current Sudan the boundaries are not clear between the state and private sector on one hand and the state is hindering voluntary sector “independent civil society organizations” on the other hand.
Therefore any foreign investment in the Sudanese private sector should consider that situation since the experiences show that, when a totalitarian regime collapsed most of the private sector components consequently collapsed since the private sector is not independent and owned mostly by the state herself or the ruling party leaders and members. That is happening nowadays in Libya, Egypt and Tunisia and the history is full of evidences in that regard.
If the Sudan's government wants foreign investments to come to Sudan has first of all to separate herself from the private sector and free the entire voluntary sector from her interventions and restrains including private sector s unions, trade unions and human rights organizations.
Even more, the Sudan`s regime has to work hard to bring peace and stability to the whole country to make it attractive for foreign investments and businesses. There is many serious issues needed to be tackled urgently: the tensions between Sudan and South Sudan and the civil wars in Darfur, South Kurdofan and Blue Nile and stopping ongoing human rights violations in the centre of the country in addition to that the issue of the ICC has to be considered and solved as soon as possible, there, could be many formulas to end this dilemma!.
That is the only way in my idea to have prosper Sudan in favour of himself, his region and the rest of the world.
Still, and of course, I personally like the initiative of “The Sudanese Dutch Private Investment Forum” and I think it is a window for new discussion on the investment in Sudan and the related issues between all possible parts. It is creative idea might lead soon “ at least” to a road map between genuine business`s partners
Economic exchange is something good all the times just needs right conditions. That conditions could soon be possible to my idea!.
