I thought the ink used last year was more than enough but no I am wrong.
ما حكم تهنئة المسيحيين بالكرسمس
Those who are accepting these fatwas do they understand what it means for Sudan with its muti-religious population?
And for those who keep repeating such talk and choose to live in the West I will just give these two facts:
Taxes, excise duties and VAT on Alcohol are major contributors to government budget that provides the health services and free education so next time when you see your doctor remember that a large proprtion of his/her salary is coming from taxation on alcohol. Your university lecturer is paid from the same pot.
Also remember when you pay your taxes a large part of that goes to defence and the planes used in Iraq.
Please do not pick and choose: it is one package either take it or leave it.

PS: Aren't these the same sheikhs who insisted the earth is flat? Aren't they the same ones who changed their line after Prince Sultan paid for a ticket on the American shuttle? I still remember that infamous cover of al-Majala back in the eighties.
