Guys, this is an interesting topic there.
Code of dressing is just an individual interest not a gov't oriented policy to the public,the right things a police is suppose to be doing is security to the public not threating innocent youth for... the way of dressing,that's a mediocre duty.

Why dot they have to do this when Bashir was talking of reintalling Full Islamic shariah,Guyz don't you think somebody is NCP in the Interior Ministry? If the Police are from CES,I suspected that earlier(lots of Shurta shabia) were intergrated into SSPS,they are pretending!

As they tore my dress into pieces, the masked policemen who did that to me as his colleagues whipped my little bro( who was accompanying me to the market) told me to dress in a proper dress like that of a muslim woman. Everything seemed like a dream even when i walked hom semi naked tears rolling down my cheeks. . in the bus, some girls whose trouser jeans were cut and hair halfly shaved by the police were undergoing same trauma so were asking " separation or unity, whats the difference?"

its sad to see and hear such things, but the question still remains, are these people pro unity or are pro separation? our people are sometimes so wicked in such a way that they are easily deceived by money from our first enemy'Arabs'. less than 2 weeks to cast for separation should not be disturbed by such in-human acts.

The GOSS should be firing some people.This is an embarrasment to the Minister. Imagine being forced to step out of ur car at midnight and being searched physically like you are carrying anthrax, and being verbally abused. The issue is not dress code or whatever, it is an issue of some people trying to show they have power and authority, and letting you know they can beat you for just saying the wrong thing.

We are in SOUTH SUDAN AND IN 2010 NOT 18 Century besides it is not written in any constitution about crime of indecent whatever,this thing has repeat itself several tymes and Govt must respond seriouly this time by stipping some officers who are responsible for this and let go home coz youth has to be respected as well,individual missuse of power is NOT allow.

What is freedom means in any democratic Nation? If needs to be define by every individual person in police department, the real answer will be a freedom of movement, freedom of speech, freedom of doing what best suit each an individual need...s.
I though we were fighting to get rid of Sharia law, so are we Muslim by cultural out look? The dressing code which police officers are beating our youths are the same dressing code of which Sharia law is against, I believed it is. So what is the point of authorities in here? Why are they not beating those young girls in cattle camps who dresses in min-skirts and naked up, and also those young men who pierced their ears? If they brings shame, then both must be treated in equal terms.
I think life style must be left as a person chose, whether to dresses in a gangster way, Muslim ways unless they do not bring any harm to the public. Can anyone tell me what the authorities trying to with those who buys Arabs light skins? To make it simple, those who bleaches themselves. Are they taken accountable for breaking rules of law in their bleaching culture?
