This position, based in Khartoum, Sudan is a rather unique one in that our NGO client and their local partner are looking for an individual who is interested in participating in a very critical humanitarian mission now getting underway. We are looking for an individual who has at least three years of experience in the NGO or infrastructure sector that has lived or worked in the Sudan region. This individual will be a critical resource for developing and maintaining relationships with the local population and coordinating local operations for our client. The successful candidate will be someone comfortable operating at the grass roots level out in the field AND also with their executive counterparts. Position: NGO Field Representative Must have lived, studied, or worked previously in the Sudan. A U.S. Citizen/PRA would be a big plus; or in the process of receiving such Existing professional, educational, family relationships, particularly, in the Sudan region is a big plus Familiarity with Islamic culture is critical This candidate is probably living in Sudan right now, but not necessarily.
