Towards a modern Sudan , free of Sectarianism

We, the undersigned, have concluded that in this 21st. century, where peoples of the world are leaving behind all aspects of backwardness, our Sudanese politics are still being influenced by sectarianism.
Sudanese political sectarianism has always been one of the main reasons of our backwardness, stopping of economic development, poor education, weak democratic institutions, civil war, lack of national identity and national consolidation , dictatorship in civilian clothing and many other evils that Sudan and Sudanese are suffering from.
We have concluded that intensive and pinpoint analysis and criticism of the past and present of the character and structure of sectarians and the sectarian system, supported by documents and testimonies , should be available to Sudanese grassroots.
We do believe in our Sudanese citizens intelligence and their ability to reach the right conclusions, if they were only given the complete information, which sectarians have shielded them form getting into for decades.
What we are going to do , is to tell the Sudanese people exactly what sectarians DON'T want them to know.
We will use all available media we have at hand , including websites, discussion forums, mailing lists, articles in newspapers, our own hardcopy newsletters, seminars, conferences, promotions and all other means to achieve our goals.
We should mention, at this very beginning, that we are not and we can not be against religious orders in Sudan. We furthermore, believe that all religious orders have contributed in the formation of the Sudanese cultures, and they are part and parcel of the spiritual heritage of a considerable sections of the Sudanese people.
We are fighting (against ) the use of the sect followers' base, to be mobilized by their sect leaders for the later to achieve political and material gains ,on the expense of those same followers, and at the expense of the Sudanese people and their aspirations.
We are, hereby, inviting all Sudanese individuals who share the above views to join us. This is a non-partisan movement, no partisan activities will be reflected here, whether promoting or defending a party, or attacking any other party, except to disclose its sectarian nature, according to the definition of sectarianism mentioned above.
