 It is Enough For the North !

Dear participants
This is very important and it should be told.
I sat down and I thought a lot about this theory and I came out with an important result.
It is enough for the north to be the most dominant and powerful party in my country. It is enough for the north to be that great (regoin) which has all the mean of power. It is enough for the north to think and let its people thinking that they are the most important race in the Sudan and the rest aren’t quite equal or well enough. As many have suffer of the north, I as a northerner have been going through the same pain, however in different terms and ways. For some of you (southern or western) might feel that I’m doing kind of propaganda or perhaps I’m being (out of mind) but I assure you that I’m not. North Sudan has been representing the whole country and things haven’t gotten better whatsoever. I have not seen a single government in the north that made something that I can be proud off. I believe it is the time for the others to come forward and have their chances to represent us as we used and have been doing for many years (I mean by that the northern governments that ruled Sudan). It is the time to give the south and west as well as the east the chance to govern and rule Sudan. I think it is the time for none Muslims in my country to come forward as well. Sadly I say that north and middle failed to lead our country and it is the time for those regions to step down to let the rest try their theories which could lead us to a better future.

I posted this topic on another board and many people exposed
different reactions.
I found some reactions to be very interesting and represent majority of (northern view)
Here are some of these views.
A person named A says the following
But Muhib you know that the majority of Sudan (70% or sumthing) is muslim, and in the Muslim faith it is 100% worng to have a none muslim lead a majority muslim country. This is because the non-muslim can law down laws that are harmfull to muslims. I think what you mean is to have an open minded muslim leader that can be very just and fair to all sudanese, muslim or non-muslim. I think there should be a non-northern leader in Sudan, but he has to be muslim. I am sure my southern bothers will agree with me, that there is nothing wrong with having a just and equal muslim ruler.

Hi dear A
I used to think and have the same attitude that you got toward the issue, but frankly that attitude isn't quite right ,knowing that none Muslims are Sudanese at the first place. Therefore, none Muslims have the right to share Muslims the power or being the leaders. If you look carefully over our recent history, you would see that Islamic governments that represented the north haven’t had a great success, not because ISALM isn’t perfect, but rather the ones who conducted Islam were not doing things the right way.

I might need to agree with you on one piece of fact you stated on your comment. You are right about the majority that has the experience and power is to be the leader. But can’t you think deeper and ask yourself why can't other (minorities) have the right to be as (powerful ,educated ,…..the list won't last) as the majority. Why can’t we (as majority) give the minority the power of being there, and the chance? Why would we assume that they won’t make it through!!!!!

Dear Muhib
You started your courageous and interesting topic with (you sat down and thought a lot)
It seems to me you had a different view in the past, if that was right or wrong (it is just a guess) that is a point for you not against you.
I believe the South and other marginalized regions have been traumatized enough by the dominant act of the north, which in the othrehand led to improper development, planning and random infiltrations in the center. The result was the nation is falling a part.
Agreeing with you, I would like to conclude with two points
First, To Motivate the north ( also mean the center) to invite other to participate in power and sharing resources and see the changes. Second, TO Motivate diversity which proven to be the jumping block towards peace and development, and again see the the change.
, I insist on anticipating great changes because we didn’t practiced it in the past.
Before I end, I think the person named (A) , was kind of hit and miss when he/she stated that majority of Muslims will not pave the way for non Muslim to lead a majority Muslims country. That is because ruling the vast nation in the name of religion proven to have weared out. The basis shall be sudanese nationalism and qualifications.

Thanks dear Auditor for your share.
You are absolutely right about me. I did have many views and theories in the past, but I like digging hard for the truth, as I’m not afraid to tell it once I find it.
On the other board, we had a very interesting exchange and our discussion is ongoing. I’m going to bring some interesting pieces of views. I agreed with some views, but I also opposed some others.
Before I go on telling you and the rest about what I agreed/disagreed on, I have to mention an important point I find it to be very helpful.
When I said (it is enough for the north) I didn’t mean the people, but more I meant the governments that spoken in behave of the northerners. People in the north didn't have lots of option since most governments were as faces of evil. These governments took many actions, and things seemed and appeared as if northerners agreed on them, though that wasn't quite accurate. I’m clarifying this point, because of its importance for other (parties and minorities) to know that northerners (as people) shouldn’t be viewed as (the guilty party).
Having saying the above and me being a northerner, I noticed something needed to be addressed among us (Northerners). Many in the north are calling on the separation of the south relying on what the history book says (That we have never been as one nations). I don’t buy that, and sad to say that majority of northerners think and have that attitude. I’m from there and I know how (Northerners mentality works). Many in the north do not stand the idea of having none Muslims to be shared with the right of having the power, the education, and being a leader. Rather for many northerners to separate the south, but not to share a southerners something!. We (as northerners) do not accept the others. Anyone that doesn’t appear to be Arabs in our own measurement won’t be welcomed. As for myself, I think that kind of attitude isn’t right, and won’t be good to keep it alive. As I said ( I sat down and I thought) and I found out I’m wrong as I’m not afarid to go further and repeat I’m wrong. We need to admit we are wrong. We need to step up and have the other minorities to share the wealth of the Sudan. we need to be as one nation. I mean by (we) northerners.
