Dear; Ibrahim Ali
It is good to see such a comment. I came back from Sudan about a month ago, I didn’t see any development, the development you are talking about is in two or tree areas in Khartoum Alamarat, Alryad, Almanshiah and all these areas are occupied by people who are controlling the economy if there is any by sucking all the resources available leaving the rest of the population to suffer to death. Have you seen an old woman like my mother or your mother begging on the street or people on the Hawadith Street, begging for money to pay for prescriptions to save somebody’s life because they can’t afford to pay for them, have you seen children staying at home 24 hours instead of being at schools because they been kicked out of school as they can’t pay the fees, have came across some people leave their houses at five O’clock in the morning and come back at midnight in order to meet their living expenses without seeing their children for weeks. Have you come across close friends they can’t see each other’s for years and they live in the same city, have you come across university students wondering on the streets looking for somebody to help them pay the registration fees, have you seen the numbers of cars in the capital and the quality of the streets. I think this is enough for now.
Dear Ibrahim, the money is with a group of thieves living in luxury houses and driving expensive cars, but the majority of the population are suffering, as they can’t take their children to school, their relatives and friends they can die as they can’t pay for their treatment. Let alone the pollution, corruption and the situations in the rural areas. My conclusion is if you want to live there and maintain a good life for you and your family you have to be one of those who are sucking the economy by leaving others suffer at least you can take your children to school and treat them at the private hospitals if they get ill. The situation is bad, look at Darfur and what happening there look at the number of people who are begging on the streets, look at the level of cheating on the streets as everybody trying to make money out of you. I think it is time for people if they go back to look at the situation moor deeply and beyond the circle that they live in and to look at the picture more widely.
