Dear Adil,
So many thanks for your response and valuable contribution.The point you have raised about the involvement in the management of the Fund goes in line with our proposition that it should be managed through aboard of trustees representing the major donors.If the UN is amongst those,then certainly it will be represented on the board.Regarding your second point of NIF's efforts and experience in this respect,I would like to emphasise that the concept of this project is totally different from theirs simply because,as you have noticed,their project was based on political and ideological affiliation while our projet is based on competence and merits.As for your third point concerning old timers and new sudanese comers,I think it is very important because it has also been raised by many Sudanese academics who were residing in the country.My answer to them is this:This projet is about Sudanese professionals vs their foreign counterparts and not between the Sudanese diaspora and their colleauges at home.This last category has got a genuine and serious grievances but it needs a separate project to deal with it simply because this projet is addressing a different problem,though similar in its nature.
