Dear Galb al-Nabith I hesitated so much to involve myself in this very religious discussion. However, the destruction the NIF government has brought on the Sudan affects every Sudanese, Muslim, Non-Muslim, Arab and Non-arab--everybody is affected. The road NIF has taken us in the last sixteen years has been extremely fraught with mishaps and danger. We all know that politics is not about after life, otherwise there would have been no need for governments. Each individual would have been left to itself to seek the best way that can take him to haven. Politics is about people's life; it is not about experimenting with theories, particularly when those theories pertain to supernatural entity of which we are not sure of the results. A politician is supposed to work for the interest of his/her people and for their material improvement of his/her people. It is not enough to tell people I am ruling you to improve your spirtual well-being, so God can receive your soul pure and refine. Before God could receive him/her pure and refine soul, his/her material welfare is necessary. The NIF and whoever supported it cannot tell us after sixteen years of bloody and iron rule that it has no duty and obligation to better the lives of Sudanese people. The NIF failure after sixteen years in power and loss of millions of lives cannot just say sorry; we failed. It has to account for its crimes. And it will be soon than later. I really like the excellent analyis of Abu Ahmed; it is brilliant and to the point.
