Pakistani news portal: 'We need another Dr Mahathir for Muslim world'
Quote The News International (Jang Media Group), Pakistan:
"The Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) countries are at sixes and sevens these days and seem unable to make a convincing case for the legitimate rights and concerns of the Muslim world in its dealings with the West, and, more particularly, with the United States...
"The OIC itself has become a largely ineffectual organisation concerned more with the minutiae of drafting hollow-sounding resolutions and summit declarations than with matters of substance."
This day on the 4th anniversary of US/UK invasion of Iraq, Kaleem Omar, one of Pakistan's most respected journalists/poets who write in English, wants another Dr Mahathir to lead the Muslim world.

Come on, isn't Mahathir doing the same in for previous OIC to
drafting hollow-sounding resolutions and summit declarations than with matters of substance.
Calling for "another Mahathir", Kaleem Omar has show the typical 3rd world mindset of "searching for savior". If you looking at industrial country, you will notice no industrial relies on savior mindset! They use collective intelligent to run their country.
OIC trying to imitate European Union so hard but refuse to learn the substances. Similar to Mahathir that call for OIC to use Dinar trade, which are mission impossible without thinking economy reform.
Nothing will fruits as long as OIC country keep their current political and economic trends.

Only an arab can head the OIC. Anyone else will not get the support from the arabs, who have the culture of treating others as slaves.
Hence, in Sudan, arabs are mum on persecution of muslims by muslims because the muslims being tortured are africans.
But the moment arabs muslims is persecuted, like the palestinians, they will make a big hoo-haah.
