I am not against Arabs , I am against their racisim , I studied with them in their country for 12 years and I wasn't treated equally like the other students simply beccause I am Sudanese.
Nazar Qibanni himslef wrote poetry critisizing their attitude.
I shall add , I can chose to listen or read to anyone , that doesn't mean I shall accpet ill treatment and disrespect from anyone , Arabs or non.
I agree with you Arabs have given us alot , they provided jobs , when Sudan failed to provide us a decent living , however , nothing was given to us for free . My father and a lot of Sudanese had established their ministry of education . A lot of Sudanese had contributed to their education system and are behind the reason now their leaders are educated . Jus as much as they have given , we gave back and more . At the end of the day we owe NOTHING.

Let me tell you that you are a hypocrite!
Moreover, you and Tarajie are both RACISTS!
The reason being is your reactionary attitude towards a “race” called Arabs! Who gives a damn about Arabs? Have you not learned anything from your religion? Gal arabs gal!!!!
If the raison d'etre for this society is a re-action towards Arabs, b’coz they did not support Sudan when the Darfur crisis hit, tell me if you have one positive answer to any of the following questions, and then I can see the justification for your fury and dismay:
What did the Africans do for you?
What did the Muslims do for you?
What did the Sudanese do for you?
What did anyone do for you?
Even better: what did you do for yourself Sudanese people? What did you do for any other Muslim nation? What did you do for any other African nation? Or even Arabic nation?
Did you see any civilised and advanced nation raise blame their failure on another nation or race? This is why Sudan is standing still!! You can not help yourself, how could anyone help you!!
It is sooo sad to see “educated” women such as yourself and Tarajie deal with a delicate issue such as this one, from a such a narrow, emotional, and racist perspective.
WHO CARES ABOUT ARABS OR FLAMING ESKIMOS!! ONLY SOMEONE WITH AN INFERIOIRTY COMPLEX AND RACISIT ATTITUDE CARES!
I am a Muslim! And that is enough for me!!!
if you gave another reason for wanting this friendship society, e.g. living in peace, or any other reason, beside this racist reason, I would have taken that with a pinch of salt, but to utter it like this? I am amazed really that you can not see your blatant racism! How different are you now to those same Arabs that you loath!

You two make some valid points...
each in her own way and from her own perspective
which is fantastic
But -in my humble view- you two seem to approach the issue from an emotional point of view. and in the process cancelling the other
Traji is entitled to have an opinion
and to act in accordance with what she thinks and believes
I hope one day we become a bit more tolerant and less passionate,
especially when passion can interfer with being objective and fair
Reject it, criticize it or praise it...etc.,
in the end- you have no choice but to accept it
as someone exercising the right to speak their own mind

I have no particular stance regarding this association
I find myself occupied with things that concern me more

Thanks a lot for your comment and I do appreciate your views
One thing though, and I am sorry b'coz i am in a hurry to go to uni., so i will be short and hope to catch up soon. I do not mind people having opinions, in fact i hardly said anything in this forum since i joined, just being busy making a living, but i think that opinions that call for a racisit attitude towards a "race" or a"nation", are not justified, and this goes both ways
Passion is not the wrong thing to have when things go wrong, in fact it is called for in Islam to be passionate about the things that we care about most, our religion, lives and posessions, the problem is often that people are not passionate enough in my view about things
once again, i am thankful for your comments and hope to come across you more

Althought I don't totally know your opinion about friendship with Israelis , you mentioned that you don't agree with Madam Taragi.
Knowing that you are Christian and assuming you think of Israel and it's people are your enemies,
the holy bible is very clear about how to deal with enemies.
"Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you "(Luke 6:27-28).
That is what Jesus said , I would be happy to know your whole opinion,
