Unfortunately since you became an active member in this board my contributions have dwindled due to unavoidable offline commitment, but I am following what goes on occasionally.
I think you have installed new energy and displayed unquestionable hatred for injustice and love for freedom and equality. I think by far our old friend Bashasha in this board have marginally succeeded in deciphering the shamble of the Sudanese identity and the credit should go to him and many other Northern Sudanese contributors to this field such as Al Bagir Afifi and Abaker Ismael and the late Al Kahtim Adlan. Many young readers I met in Sudan start to question their presumed (ARAB) identity.
The late Dr Garang used to say if you go back in the history of Sudan just for only 500 years you will get the assumed identity of today which have created conflicts and destruction in our land. If you go back 7 thousands years in our history you see all the human faces that compose the Sudan of today and then Sudan will be in peace within itself and its history and could step proudly confidently onto the future. I go further think of Sudan as an ancient legendary mural downloaded from the hub of history for us to feel content and peaceful with our self we need to see all parts of this legendary mural.
Unfortunately in our case only selected part of our mural been made available for viewing therefore the country decidedly heading towards disintegration and will no doubt disappears from the map of Africa because the “people” have failed to reconcile with their history and then themselves, for me this is pure psychology rather than politics.
I beg every Sudanese adult to take his/her children to the Sudan National Museum, if abroad take them to any museum that tells our 7 thousands years story.
