Greetings from Beirut my buddy Hayder
Although I agree with your facts about the economy of the island, miserable events of its history, tough nature, and should also add the repressive colonial experience of the island, and the repressive nature of post colonail state, the satanic dictators of the islands ( Papa Doc, and baby Doc) who used the worst thing of the Voodo culture of the island to govern, and traumatize its people. However, my friend, I disagree with your total evacuation of the people of the island. Haitians are hard workers, and have distinct culture, and religion. They are also proud of their heritage, and their struggle for independence. They appreciate the heroes of their nation, including the Sudanese journalist , and revolutionary of 19th century, Felix Darfur. May be the answer should be allowing certain percentage of the population to settle in French Canada, FL, and some southern and western US, and international involvement in developing the island. The island doesn't need a quick fix, but a strategic planning in all aspects of life. Salam to Asia, and the kids Regards
P.S
Drop me a line with your contacts in Khartoum
