Re: طرد الجنوبيين والترحيب بالأجناس الأخرى تعبير عن العنصرية والدونية (Re: Elbagir Osman)

Salam Akhi Elbagir I am honored to participate in your post. Please excuse me, I am not trying to be an elitist here by writing in English, I just don’t have an Arabic language keyboard. By the way my last name Dongos is written in Arabic as follows: Dal, Noone, Qaf and Seene, just like 3amara Donggos. The issue you raised is the core of our problems in the Sudan. Not only the people from southern Sudan who are disrespected racially in central Sudan; it is also the people from other parts of the Sudan e.g. Alqurraba, Alnooba, Albija …etc. We as Sudanese are very hospitable people, we help strangers, feed them and open our homes for them, which is a wonderful thing, and you seldom find such traits in other nations. The question is: do these people (Arabs, Asians and/or Europeans) treat us the same way when we go to their countries. I have experience with very much all ethnic groups in the world (I visited more than one African country, I lived in Saudi Arabia and now I live in the US).
The Arabs and the Asians look at us as a bunch of (3abeed) regardless of what part of the Sudan we are coming from, what level of education & knowledge we have and what religion we believe in. They see only one thing; dark skin One ancient Arab poet said:
“Al3ubd 3ubdoun lao labis al3oumama **** wa alkulb kulboun wa lao taruk alniba7” On the other hand, Africans regardless of which country they are coming from, have very deep respect for us as Sudanese, they love Wardi (Rahimaho Allah) just like we do. Instead of respecting them back, some of us look down on them and don’t want to be associated with them what so ever. Some of us are just like the victim who loves his tormenter
Aldha7ia allathi ya3shiqo Julladaho For those I say; It is time for you to leave the false pretence behind your backs and see the reality as it is. It is not necessary to be an Arab to be a decent human being. No day will come when the Real Arabs will accept you as Arabs and respect you the way you are. Respect yourselves and respect back the people who genuinely respect you, you will live happily ever after, and that will be a giant step towards solving most of the problems our country face right now.
