Dear Abu Sandra I understand the frustration of the vetran journalist and political analyst, Mahjoub Osman. It is not only Mahjoub who is frustrated, we all feel the lost of Dr. Garang. There would have been no way things could have gone the way they are going if Garang were alive. The SPLM leadership is not capable of following the the road Garang had pioneered for the Sudan. And I predict the SPLM will recoil and wait for the elections to happen. Once they happen, and the results are poor nationewide, the Southern nationalists (not to call them separatists) will takeover the SPLM, and the inevitable will happen. The present leadersip of the SPLM is too weak to pursue such a visionary program as envisioned by our fallen hero. Indeed, it is the Sudan which is the biggest loser. I do not believe after the death of Garang, there is any bight future for the Sudan. There are other factors but I will keep it short untill another oppurnity.
